I have been thinking for quite some time that Paul Insect has an awful lot of prints and editions I personally have never seen, even on the secondary market and thought it would be interesting to see if anyone has anything of interest to show. By this I mean I've seen pretty much every Banksy print under the sun sold at some stage, but Paul's early work seems a lot rarer and few and far between. For example: I had never seen his anatomical print set until recently when Laz had a few for sale. Are people holding on to his early works or are they just sitting in a folio somewhere/on people's walls? I first came across Paul's work many years ago, mostly because I liked his and Luke's design work and had an interest in street art. You could find early prints like Frankenstein, Shooting targets, Sex Toys, Wasp Melt and others in that series, The Executioner, Hills Have Eyes, POW Skulls occasionally come up on Ebay. But there are many collages and prints I have only seen in photos or on the net. Here's a few examples… And there apparently was an AP of this Sex Toy printed on holographic paper? Also, I can't find the picture but I think a group show in the US had a small print with silhouettes of animals with red badge with $in and various other things written on them. Any thoughts? Or if anyone would care to share something of interest?

It's a good point, I saw the anatomical stuff about 5 years ago, but didn't buy it. I have a Wasp Melt I bought around then, but have NEVER seen another one come up for sale, or indeed any others from that series of 4 prints. Don't know why. Maybe if he got loads of attention like Nick Walker, or more recently Eine they would come out. That's not to say he doesn't get press, just maybe not as much.

I suppose you're right Spencer. I remember around 3 or 4 years ago when Paul was being touted as the next big thing in the press a lot of the others in the Wasp melt series were up on ebay, various colours of the pow skulls and holographic prints also. Still kick myself for not buying the dead rebel set and others as the prices were very reasonable, even on ebay. I know there's a few active members on here with variants of shooting targets, $in and the other prints in the same series as Bunny Girl but there has to be more. Anyone else?

Cheers Motor, I didn't realise the book was still available as it was sold out at Pictures on Walls for many years and now removed. I've ordered a copy so hopefully I don't get refunded.

Glad to help Jusdeep. Obviously this one is unsigned but nice little book nevertheless. POW was selling signed ones. Signed by both Luke and Paul. Silky, this one has been released in 2005.
Like with all the other artists starting a while ago (Banksy, Faile, Eine and so on) these early pieces are very rare. At the begging of their careers they were not really famous so probably all bought by different folks than usual suspects of these boards.

There's lots of stuff here if you go through the archives… www.insect.co.uk/2004/Newsletter.htmlbut I still can't find the picture of the silhouetted animals print with red badges or splats.

I never noticed before, but this Bunny Girl is a hand finished 1/1. Wonder who owns it...

That one was in Lazarides print shop on Charring Cross Road about this time last year. I remember popping into the shop to pick up my signed Insect book for the poison show and it was hanging on the wall. Here's the trarget print (well part of it). From Santa's Ghetto 2004
