Sorry, put it in the wrong section before. Are you going to have a south American section We will do, but not this first year I will develop the South America section of the forum over the coming years, and expand the awards categories when I think we can really get enough entries into those awards to make it worth while. Plus sadly I don't think we can really run to the costs of awards for too many categories this year Don't worry, things will grow in a steadily over the years

Maybe have an award for the America's as a whole ?

The reason for not having the Americas as one this year is that ideally we want one for North and South to give artists in both regions a chance of winning, and felt its best to stick with the north south division now, to avoid confusion later on when we expand to include the extra categories.

Just thinking about this more If I lumped South in with North America it still might not turn out how you would expect Your thinking Os Gemeos would win, but whos to say. If they dint win, you might then see the advantage of having a South America Award Ya see its the same reason why we have a UK and European Awards, to try and spread things out a bit and give all the Artists involved a better chance of winning. If we had just a European Award, it might end up with UK artists winning every year so I want to try and spread things out as fairly as I can to give everyone a chance. In some ways, when you look at the numbers, theirs a bigger case for having London and Bristol categories But I think that would be getting a bit silly.

I just want to vote for them. For me it seems crazy having no chance to vote for one of the best things in this scene. Using your theory you could also argue that having a separate category for the UK street artist, stops someone like blu from winning the overall award. Making sure at least one of our artists get a prize.... or maybe you dont want south America in as you know os gemeos will win ?

We could also run to having awards for Australia, and maybe even Asia in the future, but at the moment due to money constraints its cant be done. If your up for covering cost for the South America awards, I well up for getting the South America categories started this year "or maybe you don't want south America in as you know os gemeos will win ?" Don't really understand where that comment came from I don't care who wins! but I agree with you, Os Gemeos would be great winners for South America if I'm allowed to say that

I twisted what you originally said about my motivations for wanting a SA thread

I think we have a limit of about 35 that we can have in each category vote, so I think that's gonna be plenty If we go over that number in any, then I guess we will need to slim the list down a bit.

I think we need categories; best crew best solo artist best member of a crew (could end up being same as best solo artist if they're good) best graffiti artist best paste up artist best stencil artist i think there needs to be some distinction between legal and illegal artists. it's all well and good Eine being in for the vote, but all the works he's done have been legal, and anyone with his hype, given half a chance would of course put up the degree of work that he's put up, so there's a flaw in this if that is not taken into account. does anyone else agree?
