So you won't be taking up the cost price option if its the next Banksy print release Freerange? That would be the only sensible assumption to make given your comments. I, on the other hand, like it, esp as it sort of says something about my home town too.

If you live near Kings Cross then I live within a mile of you and we shop at a local bakery, green-grocer and butcher - all of which are within one hundred yards of each other.

The flag looks odd on top of the castle and just flag in color makes me think not by MR B but could be wrong...s It's the flag that makes me think it is by banksy. It is this attention to detail that he excells at. Nice touch. The rest of the style and the message is very him. I would bet money on it being by banksy. Wonder what banksy gave ben for his birthday? Lucky guy whatever it was!

whether its a banksy or not.. the subject is awful. its just saying that there is loads of large 'consumer' places like tesco taking over around the UK by opening swarms of large stores i guess. some classic dig at consumerism. sigh. Says more than Marilyn Monroe on a Spacehopper

Have been for a while, since I got sick of the s**te tasting food in Sainsburys. Far better, and cheaper too. Give it a try... although they don't sell microwave meals for one at the butchers

Is it to do with Tesco buying all the property they can - Tescopoly. They pay for new housing developments and make sure that there is a Tesco within walking distance supplying all the residents. Like farming for money, with consumers as the crop.

We shop at lidl and aldi weekly , and i work a 40 hr week We can afford to shop where we like but chose to be sensible with our money. we also pop into tescos sometimes (convenience), but morrisons do the best fresh fish All local butchers etc where we live have shut down, and the local bigger store's, one stop, all days, Mcoys........ All the shops are sitting vacant because tescos owns them and they won't sell to a rival, but you can open a carpet shop or another business that will fail Whats sainsburys ? ;D
