Yeah.. its was an abandoned village way up in the north of the country. Story is that when the agriculture died round there the habitants moved to the cities leaving their homes behind. Friend of a friend is a photographer and invited them up do do their thing...!!! . I hear there is a bigger project in the pipeline...

didn't think much of Pobel's HMP efforts, but he's definitely stepped up with this work

Dolk & C215 hit Barcelona recently. Went over from London a week or so ago and saw some work which looked quite recent.
Would post pictures but not sure how it all works...

Good stuff. There's something about the pieces done inside that I like, not sure what maybe there's some sort of artistic purity painting inside abandoned buildings where there's every possibility that no-one will see the work.
And what Carlito said, haven't got any prints by Pobel as I wasn't too moved by any of them but those superheros are top. Makes me completely unbothered about D*Faces stuff as well having seen his version of superman.

Need to point out that they where not invited! This is their own project, they have been using two months over the summer in Lofoten in the north of Norway. There they have contacted the owners of the abounded houses and buildings around the large area Lofoten is. For many years Lofoten has been one of the best places to fish in Norway, it may still be, but the oldschool fishing methods is no longer in use so the larger corporations has moved or gathered in the cities! Thats why theese old houses, farms, barns or fishing sheds has been deserted! Ive heard rumours that there will be a larger project next year, but nothing is sure for now! This project has recieved ALOT of wery positive feedback here in Norway during and after the summer. So it has had a wery positive effect on the streetart scene here! Hope that clarifies it all a bit! All in all, its a great project and the place is well worth visiting both for the nature and the stencils!!

Amazing setting!
I remember reading about this place, have the people moved away due to intensive fishing methods?
The surfer in oilskins is uber-cool (imo)
