Keyes fans should definitely swing by next door on the JK forum. Josh just raffled off one of his APs for Last Kiss, and fairly regularly there is the odd Brucie bonus from over there!

Guys... I mailed the gallery that sold these about the cart issues, they did reply and asked if I could pass the info on.......................... ............................................................
Hi walshy
Thank you for your email, and for your interest in Josh Keyes's work.
We had a tremendous number of collectors looking to purchase these, and unfortunately your order did not go through today. Please note that more editions will be released throughout the year. This does not help in regards to this specific print, but it might provide some comfort for us to pass this information along.
In addition, we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.
Best, David B. Smith Gallery

From Germany I couldnt reach the page yesterday. It said "Shop out of order" five minutes after official sales start. Was it the same everywhere? Anybody one of the 200 to let go?
Really love this print.

there are a few on ebay that I think are very fairly priced. make sure you go to the USA ebay site.
I did not try for one but was on the site to see the traffic when it dropped. I at one point got that message when I refreshed my screen.
good luck

I think the flippers are quite retarded these days... The print cost me $220 (including shipping) and the flippers are selling it for $325 with free shipping on eBay. If you can do your math, between paypal and ebay the flippers are bound to pay aporx 10% in fees, plus shipping charges since most of them offer free shipping. Is it really worth it? I don't think the investment itself + labor of going through all that is worth the $60 profit...
If I didn't have the chance to get my hands on it directly though the publisher, I would have pulled the trigger and bought one on ebay without a doubt =)

flippers do need to unite... its hurting the market and the artists rep when stupid people lowball and list s**t for $100 above cost. I know it sucks when prints get purchased to get flipped, but if you will do so... set the bar higher. You kids are driving the value of these works pretty low.
Please note: I did not purchase this print to simply resell like a lot of you... I am a HUGE Keyes fan and I plan on keeping this print for many blue moons. It drives me crazy seeing these lowass prices for this beautiful work... This dudes work deserves more than being flipped for $75 profit.

Why should people drive the prices high ? shouldnt people that actually want it, be able to buy at a decent price ? and why do you care so much about value if you have no intention of selling ?

I understand that my hobby also happens to be considered big business and has value... I admire and genuinely love this work, I understand this artist's value. I find it lame that people are willing to whore him our for way less then what he and the subject matter is actually worth. I received my tracking # earlier today... Can't wait till its here =)

I'm over talking about this, obviously art has value and value matters. Don't act like it doesn't!

Well its not selling below cost, so whats your problem ? 6 months down the line it may be worth a lot more... although should any of that matter if YOU love the print ? Why does value matter so much ? I have picked up plenty of art I love knowing full well in 5 years it could be worthless. If you want to plaster you walls with Banksy shaped money that fine with me. Personally I have a passion for art that goes beyond its monetery value.

Personally I have a passion for art that goes beyond its monetery value. you're so feisty, chill out my-man... I don't have any problems! I was simply making a personal statement in regards to how I feel about the flippers. And the fact that you keep asking why it matters if something is worth something vs nothing is just silly. Sure... I love Josh Keyes and his work, but I'm also well aware the value of the objects/works I spend my hard-earned money on. The value of cretin works and artist we like and support comes with collecting, its part of the art game. Love it or leave it I too own plenty of works that are considered totally worthless to the rest of the world and art community, but are prices-less to me.

This is my last comment, the strange thing is your opinions of flippers are the opposite of most. You want them to bump up prices which I think is rediculous... and that is probably why I come across fiesty
