Even if you don't like his work his talent and ability is clear to see. Personally, I feel 'idiot love', 'study plasticoid spasticoid' and the 'retrobate' series are amongst some of his strongest work to date. I take it equates to 2 stars?? |

I saw both prints at the gallery and they really are stunning especially for their size. I don't think anyone will be disappointed by any means.
When you are really, really close up to the Mic it is kind of pixelated like a very fine newspaper print. I tried to take photos but they turned out blurry.

Id say its a fine halftone, not pixelated.

It's probably the texture of the canvas showing through - you can see the weave in a lot of prints where the paint is only thinly applied.

I havent seen them but i think its a fine halftone, so as to picke up the detail of brush strokes, dont forget this needs to be screened so, thats the way to pick up the fine detail unless its a giclee. |
