That CH is unreal. I imagine it's not a screenprint? Maybe there will be some tasty hand-finishing.

The email said: "But it's not only those lucky enough to witness the show first hand who'll get to take away a piece of the action, because shopatlazarides.com will be SHARING the release of brand new and exclusive limited edition prints (two of which are previewed below) by making them globally available online at 8pm (UK time) on Wednesday 9th June, just as the exhibition itself opens at noon, local time in LA. I'm guessing -
Micallef - Edition 125 at £575
Harrington - Edition 100 at £350
Love both, would never be allowed to hang the Mic though. Wont even bother asking to be honest!

^ ? How would you guess that?
Two of the nicest prints I've seen for a while. Hopefully the quality will to the images justice, and the Mic won't be too pricey!

can't see conor hand finishing 100 prints. would be pleasantly surprised though. maybe there will be a separate hand finished edition. if the above image isn't hand finished, i actually don't think it needs additions.
i hope the micallef is affordable. reasonably high edition size or not. i also hope the dimensions aren't too big. looking forward to everything eurotrash related.

would anyone agree with me when I say that conors prints dont do his outstanding work justice. Just feel that with his technique of oil painting and spray painting that the whole feel of the work is just a little bit lost in print format. Just my own opinion would like to hear your thoughts.

I have been disappointed by the recent releases by blk/mrkt, and i am a bit skeptical about this new one too...

I purchased His last print from Blk/Mkt. Trapped By Language. I fell that the prints are amazing. We have waited a long time for a new one. I think the process with screens creates an amazing texture. It transfers well from OG to print. Now the only issue I have are his choice of prints. His work is astounding, the pieces from his last show were amazing.(live in US, only saw jpeg and the photos you guys took at the show.) with all the pieces he could have chosen for a print edition, he doesn't pick the best ones. Give me a soldier on a horse. give me a ship with breasts! Don't get me wrong, I'm going after Bring the Noise. It just seems he has the Prefab curse, 1 kick arse print out of 3. With the other 2 being great, but not kick arse!

If the Harrington is around the same size as Carnival (104cm tall), then I'll be interested. If its the same size as Trapped By Language (58cm tall) then I dont think I'll bother. I own both and think his prints only work well if big.

Wow £225 for a CH giclee print! His last print release was $175. September 10,2009. That was a 4 color screen print. I'm going to pass. Now I'm sad...:-(

I've always been a little, shall we say, curious about BlkMrkt and their ability to produce the most details of prints with only 4 screens and have heard this ability described as 'Magic'. I would be surprised if the 'Magic' wasn't a large inkjet machine, and the 4 colours CMYK. 4 screens? www.blkmrktgallery.com/store/photo.php?path=926.jpg&title=Robert+Hardgrave4 screens? www.blkmrktgallery.com/store/photo.php?path=883.jpg&title=Chloe+EarlyI would love to be proven wrong, though. I do know that the Laz ones a very large, very expensive giclees and rather larger than the ones at BlkMrkt. Edit - BTW, this is not a dig at BlkMrkt. They do some lovely stuff.
