For those of you still interested in Cauty - ###STOP PRESS### On Friday the 29th June 2007 our Brothers and Sisters at the Royal Mail are joining the Nationwide CNPD strike (see news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6227916.stm). To commemorate this momentous event a CNPD distributor will be dispatched to a secret Central London location where, at 2:00pm, a special strike busting edition of 200 Royal Mail disapproved stampage will be made available on a first come first served basis. This will be a cash only event, £50, and all unsold stock will be destroyed on the spot at 5:00pm. Please check the CNPD site (http://www.cnpdonline.com) for the "secret location hotline number" on the day. The A.M.U.T.I and Duck-Art will be offering a special collection service (£5 per print) to loyal supporters who cannot attend. Please visit www.amutionline.com and www.duck-artshop.com for details shortly. Terms and Conditions: This offer is not open to Royal Mail staff.

This print sounds more interesting though. The previously withheld stamps are from the PMGs personal archives at the Cautese National Stamp Reserve and feature the monarch full perforations vintage NATO issue respirator and the number 8. I love a gasmask!

A good gas mask is the key requirement of all future eco-apocalyptic revolutionary freedom fighters. That and a spray can. ;D

for anyone in London that day there is also a great "free" canada day show in trafalgar square. I say great but two acts are worth checking out imho. Sam Roberts (good canadian rock) and K'naan (somalian inspired hip-hop). There are, of course, acts on all day but they are the two worth seeing. MOre info: www.canadadaylondon.com/

Cauty releases are usually dealt with by THEAQUARIUMONLINE.CO.UK until recently though purchases were made through the CNPD website and then dealt with by the aquarium gallery... since the CNPD has gone on strike items have been available through DUCKART and AMUTI but only for a short time and only in relation to the london mayor campaign... This friday post office strike support is the first time since the strike was called that Cauty prints have been available direct!! For those unable to get to london AMUTI and DUCKART will probably be able to secure a print for you for an extra 3% handling !! Check CNPD site on thursday or friday,. information should be available then.. Hope this helps guys

Not quite as far for me GBH but I still can't make it, I ordered one from Duck art a couple of days ago and AMUTI are doing the same service one of these might be your best bet. Do I get a mars bar anyway www.amutionline.com/www.duck-artshop.com/

Romany
Great work, and to the person who provided it.
As you know I'm a Cauty nut and I love it.
ALTHOUGH
I had to chuckle at Mr 'I'm abandoning all ltd ed prints' I'm not gonna go down the path of pow/Banksy print release mayhem!!
Sold out you say, a little bit ironic dont you think.
I'm glad the 5-11 went to a good home!! What price a full set of four with companion prints? Only 15 sets sold.
Your thoughts?
Cheers

The 5-11 I almost bought the one from the shop for 3 times as much! Will get The Aquariums framers to frame it the same. How do you mean companion prints?

Yeah I'm lovin this as well cheers for the pics, nice to see what I bought.
What made me laugh though was that you could only buy it in cash in person, except I bought mine days ago on-line. And this postal strike ? I waited in every morning this week for my sos tube, today i think there's no post so i go shopping and when I get home what do I find, a slip from the postie.

When original large signed 5-11's were realeased the deal was that if you bought the three as a set you were sent 3 pop edition sized prints.
They were more in the stot 'sstylee' crude hand drawn pics with a stickman drawing of Mr Fawkes getting 'Hanged' 'Drawled' and 'Slautered'. With plenty of red marker for blood. Signed by JC
Can't find any pics at the mo, and it's pub o'clock.

Leading authority.
No sir not me.
Is the rumour not true that all members of staff from the AMUTI and Aquarium were off to the Caribbean for a month due the buying exploits of a Gent from London, who is also on the jam roll.
I sure hope there's a branch art/forum anonymous in certain parts of Spain.
Good nite,
