Anyone going along to this one? I haven't really heard much about Copyrights work for a while, so its good to see him having a show like this.

Hope to see a lot of forum members down tomorrow...the show's just about hung and looking very cool.
If you wanna pop along, all you need to do is drop Russ a quick mail and you'll be added to the list. You can bring people with you too, just let him know the number of guests that will be with you.
Thanks,
Andrew

I agree with you...I think they're very nice and defo stand out as some of the strongest. I obviously haven't uploaded all the work, as we want to save some, but there's about 40+ pieces in total. Varying sizes, prices, etc, etc.

Going there tonite, will be brilliant. My first ever buy was one of his decks, laser cut...awesome piece of art. I guess it's all down to this that I discovered the pleasure of hanging a great piece on my walls.

You hear a lot that artists don’t improve, they just remix/recycle the same s**t...well that cannot be said of Copyright. Last night’s show was a killer! His style has improved so much since last year. A lot more colours, a lot more attention to detail, and just lots of layers (paper, spray paint, acrylic,..). There’s a strong Japanese influence in his work now, and from other artists I thought but in Copyright’s true unique style. I was really impressed by the prices too. C is not taking the piss, the biggest piece was the size of a door, right at the entrance, one of my definite favourite and not exceeding GBP1900.00! (take off VAT and the gallery fee, he’s not making that much). The “Vault” was full of slightly older things but a few masterpieces were there too, unfortunately sold already. There were about 40 pieces, I recommend you head there asap, some real artistic skills to be seen! It helps that C is a top guy, really friendly and humble.

Had a good look through the pieces on the website - thanks for the link. Morning Star is the stand out piece for me - very sexy! Someone else's favorite too it seems, because it's sold. Great buy for anyone that got it. Anyone on here? Great work Copyright and UA c

My fav's probably Izanami and a the Great Wave, again sold though! Am very very tempted by untitled 3, especially given the price, but am not supposed to be spending atm (again, as per usual! Oh, and i loved Izanami and love on paper, great buys by someone!

Wow! Copyright has really stepped up his act!! And the outcome is a finely polished and incredibly well judged first solo show. You can immediately tell that copyright has really poured his soul into the two rooms at urban angel in london. This show has a real direction not apparent in his previous work. This first solo show seems to have really forced copyright into thinking about what his message exactly is, and he has found an answer through an incredible gathering of iconic images creating a definitive Copyright style. I had deliberately avoided images of the show before I had a chance to get down, as so often I find that the surprise and impact of fantastic shows is ruined by internet previews. I was rewarded by my wait with a feast of colours and textures that's really worth a view while its still up and in one place; As it seems that, in a reccession defying show, several of the pieces will be moving on to loving homes. This only adds to the fact that Copyright has matured and really taken his art (on and off the streets) to the next level, with more deep and thought provoking work than ever before, I hope he feels it was as great a success as everyone I have spoken to. I know becoming a full-time artist was a big move for Copyright, but I think it is really starting to pay off.
