First off, apologies for the lack of posts of late...we've been so busy with this show we just haven't had time to concentrate on the forums...sorry. Here's a few shows of the inside of the gallery. Hope to see everyone tonight. Thanks as always.

Was my first Hush show and I really liked what I saw. The originals were out of my price range, however I really liked the Lolita Lolly black and red prints (25 of each, 4 colour screen print, tea, hand finished). There were three other small edition (10) prints available, that were larger and were a little more expensive... I have taken some photos, and will post some as soon as i finish my bottle of wine!!! More to come

i have to agree. where is the art when it comes to hush? i really dont get it. i loved giesha girl as an image but i can never understand why the man gets respect as an artist. manga is everywhere,it's not hush's idea and he does nothing radical with the idea anyway.it bemuses me why he comands such respect. this isn't a critique more an honest question. i can always understand art having no merit other than being pleasing to the eye,but surely hush cant take credit for manga??

A great show this evening! Thanks to the guys at Urban Angel for hosting it. Personally, I'm a big fan of Hush's work, and I feel that he will certainly go places (in fact he already has). His work may not be everyone's cup of tea, but there can be no doubting that his style will attract a lot of appeal. Hopefully he keeps moving forward, as he is a friendly and down to earth guy, and I wish him the best. I took some photos of the show with a blackberry, so the quality is pretty poor, but I'll share some anyway. img91.imageshack.us/img91/3237/img00011200911122026.jpg![]()

man what a great looking show... pissed I couldn't make it to the other side of the pond... well done and definitely a success. Almost pulled the trigger on sweet modern girl 2 but was a little steep w/ the exchange rate going up and all.. but someone else got it and glad it went to a good home, let's hope.. thanks to Russ as well for all his help, amazing guy. PEACE
