zip-always a pleasure, vvv-good job, cos you'd have got f**k all for the van! What the dagenham dustbin..how very dare you !! Micky said some of the biggest names in music have been chauffered in that vehicle.... you sure? i know he gave pavarotti a lift once, maybe he meant biggest frames in music. top 3 from last night 3-one of 2 patchwork portraits, red or blue, 2 the lighthouse (man in boat as above), but numero uno had to be the pregnancy test, i could see a bidding frenzy if ever it made it to an auction, very strong, powerful piece, congrats to whoever landed it.

What an exhibition.
It was great to meet the Bigman, Singerstu, Funster, Adam, Paul, Fiona, the guys from BRP (and many more). Didn't realise there were so many from the forum there so shame I couldn't meet more of you.
Adam's work blew me away; there was more of his stereotypical self-portraits, along with some new ideas (Haircut and Lighthouse to name just a few). Well worth a visit, in fact a 'must see' if you're planning a trip to London in the next month. ;D ;D ;D

hlarmy, Ron had some work there too Apparently so It's personal preference (as I'm sure you'll agree); I was there to see Adam Neate's new stuff; Ron's work did grow on me as the night went on but I'm not sure whether that was down to the art or the lemon vodka's In all honesty, I'm not a massive fan of Ron English's work so spent most of the night with my back to it...

harsh but fair, i can certainly appreciate ron's work on a technical level, its no understatement to say he is a brilliant painter, i've just not seen a piece that moved me in the way adam's work does, that said the casper & goats head pieces were excellent, but still not something i would buy.

Excellent night! I thought Ron's work was particularly strong - for me the Goats Head piece by him stole the show. Nice to meet some familiar faces too

As always Adam’s work taking things to the next level.
I really liked the fragile portraits Adam has been working on and really look forward to seeing this develop in the future. My favourite out the four was Flouro Cuidado.
The ‘Haircut’ well! that was just a different dimension very complex incorporating both 2D, 3D and very interactive.
My favourite 3D was the boxed in portrait and 2D was ‘the Test.’
As always Fiona and Paul were really good hosts and it was great to finally meet the man Mr Neate, what a nice guy!

The t-shirt man & arrest were amazing! I wasn't so keen on the cyclist... it was the 3-d pieces that really stood out.

I'm gonna get all over excited, Adam Neate is the greatest living artist on Earth!! These are blowing me away. Cant get over the test, wow, the empty cat basket, pot with no flowers, the helpless man in water, lady on the toilet alone but together, the feeling in that piece is overwhelming, I really get the feeling they are trying for children, but they are really struggling.
I cant wait to check this show out.

Brilliant night, great to meet up with a few people and sadly missed others. The art was simply spectacular, the books brilliant, Adam and Ron really generous warm hearted guys, the beer was flowing and Paul and Fiona on fine form.
Simply fantastic!
