Email says super fine mesh, prob best to see this one in person before judging it. Prob worth looking into the symbolism too. It could have the finest mesh in the world and glow in the dark symbols - it would still be sh1t. oh ok

i like the picture (green one is nice) but a regular print seems boring and a bit expensive. A special edition, with some hand made parts would be better option for such artists... (and more tempting)

Mrs Spartan looks very attractive - can she cook? Cooks, cleans, irons and always welcomes me at the door with a backrub and a bath full of bubbles.

I actually like these prints and LOVE the Date Farmers' work. I think they've made far too many cheap and lovely small OGs on paper for them to break into the mass produced print market. It would certainly help if their was more of a handmade feel but I think overall they should have just stuck to originals.

A bit of self promotion and Date Farmers promotion - We have a small edition and smaller in size print from The Date Farmers available here - cmykprojects.com/datefarmers.html"El Diablo" is the first print ever produced by The Date Farmers and it turned out really well. On a side note - CMYK Projects will be in Miami later this week checking out Art Basel follow us on twitter or facebook to get in on the action. www.twitter.com/cmykprojectsThanks!

Im no marketing expert but what sense does it make to have a build up to an event then release some of the main artists prints beforehand ? Probably very nice in person, POW need to have a detail photo up as standard.

The market is currently flooded with Date Farmers prints. I totally knew that this would happen.
First, they got involved with Mr. Murk for their Denver show, and he made some computer prints. Edition of 50 and they are still for sale @ $150 USD (Link Above; dope image but I can't advocate digital production.)
Then, Modern Multiples made an extremely nice fine art serigraph, hand separated by the artists in the studio in August. The edition is in 3 colorways, is hand-touched and are $500 each. Contact info@(Removed) for more info. on this print.
Then, POW signed them to do this edition. $240 USD.
I think that is too much too soon for a fringe market like this.

PASS
I hope the days have gone where POW can produce average quality work and then hope everyone fights to get their hands on it, thus selling out in seconds. The mentallity of some people beggars beleif. Excellent sales management by POW but think this is gonna be a pretty tough xmas for them if they don't have a couple or more Banksy's to release!!

I could be wrong, but I think POW will be pulling out the stops this Xmas. Hopefully see at least one new Micallef print (possibly from the recent show), some new Insects and a new Banksy release.

I absolutely love their work and own some but still wouldn't buy a print from them... although, I do like the “Medicine Crow” print from Modern Multiples, it's a cracker of an image but still wouldn't buy it...

I don't care how many prints they put out, the latest image with the Panther is totally f**king bad-ass... I'm down for that print, without a doubt.

Don't you think 630 prints is too much to release in less than 6 months? Shepard Fairey calls 630 prints a short week.

thats not what you said in your previous post. OK, let me clarify for you. The first statement was in the context of "selling out" an edition. If they wanted to "sell out" these editions as they were released, then yes, 630 prints is too much. However, I think the newest image from POW is the winner out of all the editions they've released recently, so I'm going to get one.
