The bottles are stripped of their labels and caps, washed, and crushed, then chopped into flake. These tiny pieces are melted and extruded to create fibre. The fibre produced is crimped, cut, drawn and stretched into the desired length for strength, then baled. The baled fibre can be processed into fabric for a variety of textile product uses. Sounds simple, but i‘ve no idea how this actually works, but somehow it does. Recycled polyester reduces air, water & soil contamination, reduces use of energy & oil, reduces non-biodegradable landfill matter, reduces toxic emissions from incinerators, reduces pollution and land degradation although, of course, it‘s not perfect, it doesn’t solve global warming, World peace or time Travel and is strangely, even though it’s made from trash more expensive to use. It does however help the environment and make you feel slightly better about throwing out your rubbish." |

My GF picked up one of the black shirts as a surprise for me last week so here's a quick review...
Pros: It's black, comfortable & has D*Face stuff on it.
Cons: It's very thin material & is quite a lot smaller than any other XL shirt I own.

It was not XL it was LX ;D I am jealous you already received it, I ordered an S so I hope it is not too small but the regular S. |

Mine arrived yesterday.. watch out they do come up on the small side, I ordered a Medium but have had to send back for a Large!
Great Tees though they are really soft and have a vintage look and feel

Got mine too and love it. It's black (not navy) but a nice faded look and a nice soft texture too. It's a large but not too big (like some larges are!)
Some great text / description inside (on the neck) about how they are made with recycled PET bottles, with the usual D wit...........
