i really havent got a clue rklimek but i believe it was comissioned by the USPS to celebrate the release of their 'Star Wars 30th Anniversary' Stamps, pretty little thing though isnt it

I'm impressed that the USPS did something cool like this.

If there is one chore I could never do for the rest of my life it would be going to the Post Office. I'm really convinced my local station is the most inefficient in the country!!! I need to alot at least a half hour everytime I go to mail a package.

you should try a UK post office, 10 windows and only ever two of them manned / womanned and that's at lunchtime when it's busy, imagine what they'd earn for all that wasted real estate in the city centre.. Morons...

Actually sounds just like the USPS... They don't hurry for anyone and they seem to move as slow as possible, like they are trying to do the least work they can during their shift..

That sounds EXACTLY like the USPS! Why build 10 windows if only 2 are in use at any one time?!? What bugs me even more is how even if it's super-busy and only 2 windows are open, they chit-chat with people and take their own sweet time. Get up, disappear in the back room, come back 15 minutes later, serve one customer, stand up, stretch, talk with co-worker... while the line is going out the street.

It is a USPS promotion for the 30th anniversary of Star Wars.

I've seen a couple of boxes in Philly, now.

Supposedly they have stamps and priority mail envelopes coming out soon.
