Most of her work has been sold/given to an american guy who's trying to get her into galleries in the US. Apparently she'll be in a group show at g1988.

It's all a bit weird, I've mailed her quite a few times and got nowhere, she says everything's sold then all of a sudden all the stuff I asked about 6 months ago (+ about 20 other pieces) shows up at some guys house in the US at 4x the price??

Something's not quite right about this if you ask me.

I see, well you could offer your works up here a few at a time with the price on them and sell via PM or alternatively maybe one of the Artists on here who has a Bigcartel shop can explain to you about getting one for yourself!.

Wow!! This is a real shame!! I followed Lora's work for quite a while now and love pretty much all of it. Seems such a pity she's hooked up with what seems to be a the McDonalds of art prints.

Considering Steve Laz bought a couple of pieces from her and she had a few pieces in a few shows both here and in the US this seems like a pretty sad way to go.

But hey, everyone's got to eat and these are tough times. If only she'd got her head together to put up a shopping cart site or even just a bigcartel store :s But then artists are rarely businessmen(or women) right brain, left brain and all that.

But good luck to her, hopefully she's getting good money from it and they're not going to suck out the all the profits.

There's no shame here Notworthit... you're obviously just a non believer of putting artist's in control over the galleries and that's all the PimpArtworks platform currently does. Lora is in very safe hands.

Yes it's a new concept, and I want to stress this, the artists are completely free to choose their own commission and the rest that they may not be in a position to do is taken care of for them. Doesn’t get much fairer or logical than that. The platform is also only 3 months old and has already managed to pick up a sponsorship off Molotow so we must be doing something right even if you don’t personally agree!

It’s also a fact that with the site currently being open submission it is undeniably introducing & exposing talents which otherwise would be unheard in these circles and you’re actually criticising the ethos behind that??

Do you not think if someone deserves a break that everything should be done to offer it and without in this case the hassle of any domineering red tape and contacts? That’s all we do plain and simple.

I need to state too, PimpArtworks has not shown all its cards yet, we are still very young. There is a completely separate Signed & Limited Edition section being introduced shortly which you might be more familiar with, and it’ll offer to reward anyone recognised on the site to go a step further in their careers.

And let’s be clear too.. we are not pretending to sell to the privileged who can fork out £200+ for an unmounted paper print that they can hang on their wall for an investment at this stage. You don’t have to have a pocket full of cash to be allowed to appreciate and buy quality art. For that amount of money we give an option of buying x large exclusive Acrylic on high grade Perspex instead, something very few else do.

Your early judgement really is completely unfair and extremely narrow minded, especially this early on for an evolving platform offering artistic talents nothing more than an uncorrupted opportunity!!

Full disclosure I am an advocate for a few artist and work with them and galleries. Lora is one that I work with because I love her work. I have my own collection but mainly pop surrealist with a smattering of street artist.

the point is that its preety much hard for me to work with people(and to people with me as well) from this country,
as its such a headache to sending original art from russia
it takes a lot of patience
but i am really fan of workoholism
trying to try any random ways

Great work as always, and i see that Pimpartworks has some limited editions of you work now, personally think this is a much better than the open editions , chose size colour etc option.
