Hi eyesaw
Please can I be entered to win one of your fabulous new prints. The last time I won anything was wayback in the early 80's, in the days when your school would have competitions to see who could get the most things in a matchbox. I won in 1982, (although I did have to argue my case), I filled my matchbox with salt and had to explain that each individual grain was in fact different, (a point proved by a microscope). Anyway, after that the school changed the rules and I was buggered!! (not literally, it wasn't a public school after all).
Also, I love your stuff and am skint after spending a hefty wedge in preperation for upfest
Cheers Optik

Hell yes!
Loved seeing the image in Brighton at the TB+TC event... whatever view you have on the world atm I think it captures (although a rather dim view) the human effect on the world. A beautiful and complex orb rotating 'round the sun sustaining life above and below the sea, yet us as a species seem to be able to pollute, starve, kill and eradicate anything from an insect species to the quality of the air!!!! As Agent Smith in the Matrix said, 'There's only one other thing on the earth that operates like that... a virus'.
The composition, colours, feel and mood imo capture the beauty of the world, with it's deep blue seas and oceans... yet the mutant human sitting on top of it claiming ownership needs a gas mask to be able to breath the air. With it's sinewy body and claws digging deep into the thin crust of the fragile planet we see a mirror of our selfishness and innate greed. Take, take, take...
Mmm but simply put, love the image, great skills and beautifully coloured ;D

i would like to win one of these for the following reasons. 1) in 1987 my then house was burgled, the burglars stole my hamster. This may seem inconsequential, but it isnt. His name was lucky and he was my lucky hamster. Since that day i have not won anything i have entered, including a 100 meter race when i was in school. If i had won that race, which i should have done as in those days i was easily the fastest and toughest kid in school, i would have gone on to represent britain in the olympics. Again this may seem inconsequential, but it isn't, as the olympics i was aiming for were dubbed the lucky olympics by all, and I was looking to break my curse from losing lucky the hamster at these games. Now some may say that my smoking, drinking and lame foot were the reasons for not winning that day, but i still believe i came last that due to the curse, as they say in mexico 'el taco diablo magnifico' which roughly translates to 'the curse of the missing hamster called lucky'. You have the chance to break that curse Eyesaw matey, i think you should take it.... 2) i love the image man.

Mmm but simply put, love the image, great skills and beautifully coloured ;D I wrote this about the piece on a different forum... "Or on the bigger picture it could represent the human race (superpreditors)as dominator's of the world, in a raw creature like form. As that is all we are creatures that inhabit this planet.... As for the gas mask it is a symbol of the man made toxic environment, environmental destruction and pollution, Not as in depth but thinking along the same lines. GOOD WORK PEOPLE KEEP THEM COMING.. A sad story schlomo think i know the chavy scum bag who stole your hamster... was it this man

My Speech. Eyesaw, I'm lookin' at it and I just wanna smash it. I just wanna f**kin' smash it with a sledgehammer and squeeze it. It's so pretty. Then I just wanna chew your face, and I want to scoop out your eyes and I want to eat them and chew them and suck on them. I like it that much. This is my first attempt at speech-writing. Hope you like.
