Winter of Discotent... ed. of 20 on paper complete

Ahhh the world's crashing down around our ears, there's a huge global recession that could turn to a depression... doom and gloom everywhere. On that note and fearing another winter like '78 and '79 I decided to try and put a smile on people faces. Stay positive and keep moving your funky body to the rhythm of the music!

I'm thinking of doing 20, all unique, on 11" x 15" Fabriano 280gsm paper. If you're interested drop me a PM or email [e-mail] so I can register your interest. When they're all sprayed I'll send everyone on the list all the images so you can decide whether you'd still like one. Haha clear as mud as usual!

They'll be £35 each plus P&P... except for the first three people to PM/email me who will get their favourite one totally FREE

PrescriptionArt I am being subjected to X-Factor by Mrs AP so there may be something subliminal there but really it's because I'm a morose bar steward who just wanted to put some pretty colours on a piece of paper

Well it is Discotent so there's got to be some canvas somewhere coach

Got all the backgrounds sprayed now for the paper edition, will crack on asap and let everyone know when they're available.

A couple of sneaky canvas pics (of awful quality ) that I've just finished... some having the new AP favourite, silver glitter spray ;D I'm really happy with them so cudn't resist posting.





The two larger canvases (blue and orange) have the added extra sparkle

Haha, I'll have to see one of these in person some time to see if I'm swayed but most importantly, does the glitter stay on the canvas or does it get bleedin' everywhere?

Cheers Pahnl, I know what you're saying about glitter, but I thought I'd give it a try and it does add a subtle funky shine to the silhouette! The great thing is because the glitter's an aerosol all you have to do it point and shoot ;D

Here's some (slightly) better pics, still taken with the mobile so not top quality, I'll borrow a proper camera soon and get some quality shots... this thread should be renamed the improving photo thread!

A quick update, another 5 of the paper edition complete only five to go, sorry 'bout the delay guys I'm getting there slowly.

Also, a couple of the glitter canvases (16"x16" ed. of 4) and three normal canvases (12"x16" ed. of 6) will be in a show from this Thursday in the leafy countryside near Reading. If anyones in the area and would like to come along to the private view Thursday night whiz me a PM and I'll get you on the guest list.

There'll be barns, rivers, ducks, swans and the odd rabbit running around plus the proverbial booze.
