Howdi, thanks for the kind words. Yes the accent is northern - Lancs. If I had £1 for every time someone emailed me and said 'oh I can tell you're really influenced by Denning' or 'You just remind me of Harrington or Micallef' - then I'd be doing ok! The video was just a little way of showing people were I was coming from and what had influenced me.

thanks for that Dale ... excellent little video... well done to you and chris, i'm sure, the ad hoc camera man. .. Right there, I was cameraman. Dale was the director/editor though. I did as I was told. For once! Have seen some of the new works coming out of his studio. They are quite amazing. Powerful, confident and strong and still 3 months to go till his January show.

Nice one Dale, really enjoyed the video. Our accent really doesn't come across well on camera though. ;D

Really interesting watch - thanks Dale. I used have have the crass posters from the lp's on my wall when I was a teenager! Also interested to hear Jenny Saville mentioned - one of my favorite artists - I have a beautiful book of her work. Got my canvass back from the framers today - will post pics later, when downloaded. I wasn't disapointed! c

Spenie - As for 'our accent'...well, I used to have a very broad Lancs accent, then after about 13yrs of living in London I noticed people sounded different when i went back up. So I guess the youtube video documents the accent after 16yrs absence! Coach - That wicked woman Salome looks lovely framed. I always like to get a copy of all my babies in their new homes, so thanks very much for that! Yes Jan is drawing nearer. (amphetamines anyone?) I've got 22 paintings and hoping for 30 but will choose approx 20 for the show.......

Well my milkman must have done the same, as you sound just like him He was talking about getting a T-Shirt stall in Camden, not sure if that came off though.

I sound like the milkman!! Good lord, I'm an artiste! I'm like most, put me in the company of fellow Lancs folk (or Yorks even) and my accent jumps right back. Yes, nice one Coach.
