Dale's show at Signal, 'Arcana', is based on the ancient imagery of the Tarot. Each of the works represents an imaginative modern interpretation of Tarot cards. Promises to be his best show yet. If you'd like to attend the Private View on the 8th April 6 - 9pm or would like to be sent a preview of the works a few days before the opening, then please email us at info@signalgallery.com Judgement Card

Cool photos annar50. Coincidentaly, I posted a few pics of Dales work up yesterday, on the your framed art thread. Love the two pieces in the opening post signal. Really beautiful work. Good luck Dale and Siganl with the show - I suspect it will be a corker. Anyone got any pics of paste ups? Cheers c

Been meaning to do this for a while now and this seems ideal timing with the show coming up. Dale is a good friend of mine and when my little boy (George) was born, Dale was kind enough to spray for me a plaque which I have placed on George's door. Dale also gave me a spare plain one in case I didnt like the one he made for me, there was no need as I love it. Rather than leave the spare in the cupboard, would anyone on here like it? I don't want any money for it but I will require some sort of confirmation that George exists and that he is of an age where he would want this on his bedroom door.

Would have loved one for his room. Only3, and needs reminding which is his room to keep him from straying into ours at 4 in the morning! ;D

I definitely wouldn't say disappointed. There are some great works from Dale in the preview (a few his strongest to date). If you haven't seen them already you won't be disappointed at the show. In my opinion some are a little niche, but in general the quality is there, just maybe not subject matter to suit everyone's tastes. 'You can please some of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.'

I have been looking at the preview link for a few days and as outlined above, I am a friend of Dales and do own a few of his canvasses. (Disclosure over)
My personal, albeit biased, opinion is that the new works look amazing, The photos on the Signal site will not do these works justice at all as they never do, you have to use your imagination a little. Once you see these works in the flesh and close up, you will see the skill and beauty of them.
I look forward to seeing peoples views once they have visited the gallery and seen these works rather than looking at low res jpegs. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed.
See you Thursday!
