I'm not convinced by this piece would he really put a piece on something so stealable as a door? also seems to be signed "liv"?

slog.thestranger.com/slog/archives/2010/04/23/we-can-haz-banksy"hey there, i don't know if you know but banksy (THE biggest street artist out there) is featuring his new much hyped movie at harvard exit tonight (friday). when i was walking home from the bar about an hour ago i spotted what seemed to be a bonafide banksy original on the theater's wall! don't think it was commisioned cause the piece wasn't there a few hours ago and why would someone work so late? anyway, he's kind of a big deal in the current global art scene, and thought you guys might wanna cover it -ciao"

Not convinced. Rat on the left is very dubious.

Not sure on this one, airing towards fake. Stencil looks a little ropey, scale a little out, not tight enough. The rats bodies, tails too fat, hands look out of scale, pointer too long, signed Liv. Too many doubts in my mind.

Could Banksy have a team of people doing all of these for him? I wondered about this before, coz it must be running a big risk doing them himself these days. Just an idea

Banksy has always been great in his placement so even if he did have a team then they wouldn't just lob them up anywhere. This placement is poor.

The rat on the left looks very much like the 'I'm out of bed' rat off Melrose which at first made me lean more towards a copycat. Then i had a little browse around and that was the same as the 'so little to say..' rat so I guess I'm still on the fence!

What's up with the rat on the left. Looks like he's holding bank notes, but actually looks more like a big spider? Some bits like the pointer stick which looks like a scratch and the graph markings up the drainpipe do scream Banksy though, but still not sold on the idea.

Looks like its right next to the ticket office for the cinema showing the Banksy film so it might not good a good position at first glance, but when you look up and down the street on google street view it makes more sense
