Am I the only one that can't get on the forum?

Ive been having trouble getting onto the forum at work and at home for the past couple of days.

me 4 - I thought they were blocking me and have had to go in via 'Hidemyass' - this made me think maybe i had a problem and should be here less - but it seems it's not that at all - yeah

now sort it silky ;D

ProBoards was/is being attacked. I couldn't get on all day yesterday as all ip addresses were blocked at one point. If you're a be/o2/sky customer, you would have been the last to get access back. Is anyone still having trouble?

The forum server was under attack yesterday, so I wasn't able to get on until the afternoon.

I have been struggling. I thought too many dodgy MBW prints being shown had pushed the servers over the edge.

had loads of problems too, some page saying the website subscription wasnt renewed or something like that

Still cant get on normally however via the info Ross kindly posted above it works on port 8080 which can be accessed through:

www.banksyforum.proboards.com:8080

if you use sky, your f**ked basically.

Only thing that doesn't seem to work though the 8080 port is the 'last 100 posts' feature

I've had no problems at home but when I'm using the 'Cloud' network in Pret a Manger I can't get on to it what-so-ever.

I'm with SKY also and have been using proxy servers to visit the forums, type in proxy servers uk into google and paste forum address into one of them.

Funny that as Im on Sky Broadband and couldnt access the forum for 5 days (but no problems with access at work).

i'm on sky too - couldnt get on for 3 days.

i googled it and heard it was something about file sharing and sky thinking that the entire proboards network was a file sharing network.

back now though.....

File Sharing really? never heard that one before. But I guess it might be happening on another forum and the only way to stop it was blocking the whole lot

Therefore Sky had instruction to block all these sites, including, unfortunately sites that have no connection to file sharing.

They are, however, looking to individual sites, like mine, so they can allow us to access our site and forum. That however, could take days.
