ProBoards was/is being attacked. I couldn't get on all day yesterday as all ip addresses were blocked at one point. If you're a be/o2/sky customer, you would have been the last to get access back. Is anyone still having trouble?

The forum server was under attack yesterday, so I wasn't able to get on until the afternoon.

I have been struggling. I thought too many dodgy MBW prints being shown had pushed the servers over the edge.

Only thing that doesn't seem to work though the 8080 port is the 'last 100 posts' feature

I'm with SKY also and have been using proxy servers to visit the forums, type in proxy servers uk into google and paste forum address into one of them.

File Sharing really? never heard that one before. But I guess it might be happening on another forum and the only way to stop it was blocking the whole lot

"I have now been informed, as I have telephoned Sky again, that ProBoards have allegedly been reported to the UK Government due to supporting file sharing sites more than any other. Therefore Sky had instruction to block all these sites, including, unfortunately sites that have no connection to file sharing. The outlook is that according to SKY, this situation is not going to change and blocks will allegedly not be lifted. They are, however, looking to individual sites, like mine, so they can allow us to access our site and forum. That however, could take days. That is what I was told today, I can only hope that tomorrow will be different. SKY also said that they have acted first as they are the largest telecommunication and media provider." support.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=support&action=display&thread=349192&page=1all very odd...
