"Our friend Banksy" he says in the above post. JSG may well be linked to from a whole load of blogs / twitter accounts now because of his "exclusive footage", and we're then in dangerous territory of him getting credibility (outside of forums). If you have the means to promote the truth anywhere else, please do. He's already been linked to by upperplayground, and not in a negative way.
From Daniel Lahoda:
Maybe you should have thought about that when flipping countless Gold flags from SG07 Daniel, and ripping off countless people over the years?

So the guy who owns the property took it down and has it? It was okay for that theater in Utah but not okay in this case?
And I assume he means "it isn't on his website yet" when he says "the artist never confirmed the work was his".

From Daniel Lahoda: Maybe you should have thought about that when flipping countless Gold flags from SG07 Daniel, and ripping off countless people over the years? Well, he did go to Palestine with Ron English and Swoon as a guest of Banksy, and he was able to buy multiple copies of the print directly from Banksy, and, to be clear, he just bought them and the Palestinians sold them to raise money for themselves. A family raised enough money to buy their property back from The Israeli's who stole it, thanks to this man that you all despise so deeply. That's the truth; and anyone here would trust the source, believe me. Y'all need to slow your roll and find a new person to hate on... LA Art Fraud Department? What a joke; It's been months since that was announced... Where's the mugshot, you f**king trolls. Lahoda has done more for the scene than any of you little internet wizards could ever conjure up in your imaginations... Don't let yourself be manipulated. Support good work, or shut the f**k up already. This is my first post under a second name... Anonymous Meet Anonymous. These latest accusations just really made my blood boil...

Well, he did go to Palestine with Ron English and Swoon as a guest of Banksy, and he was able to buy multiple copies of the print directly from Banksy, I don't really comment too much around here but you're just talking s hi t. He didn't go as a guest of Banksy and he didn't buy multiple prints directly from Banksy. We're not ALL as green as we're cabbage looking - some of us do know a little about this mad, bad world we call art collecting and the people involved.

Here you go -
JetSet Graffiti has confirmed through a business partner of Banksy’s that it was the infamous Doug Christmas of Ace Gallery in Los Angeles that organized the removal and impending unauthorized sale of the artwork.
Famous for treating his bills as if they didn’t exist; Since 1976, Christmas has been sued 55 times by artists, other dealers and art collectors, according to a profile in 2009 in the LA Weekly.
According to the source of the anonymous video, “I asked the workers what they were doing with it, and they said they were hired to remove it, and that it would go into a ‘big collection of art’. We all know that this piece is currently being offered for sale through Ace.”
Ummm

They paid for his flight and s**t, and he flew over to help Ron English. Swoon had her assistant with her as well. Each artist was allowed to bring one other person. Lahoda hijacks billboards with English and other artists all the time, so it's logical. He didn't buy the prints directly from Banksy, they were purchased from POW, technically. Besides, the facts are that he helps people. Go suck a dick.

awe inspiring response so reading between the lines, the stencil was on property owned by Doug, so Banksy would've asked permission...?

OR - The phone number connects to Ace Gallery, Los Angeles. Gallery Owner Doug Christmas confirmed via phone to Daniel Lahoda that the piece was in his gallerie’s possession, however Mr. Christmas has “not decided how much to sell it for, or even if we are going to sell it at all.” Our take on this mess? Glad you asked: “Do NOT support this sale; the artist never confirmed the work was his, and the piece is now considered counterfeit. Look, if these wealthy gallerists and collectors are going to try and use an artist’s hard work to make money, they will do it on his terms, not off his back. It makes sense for the artist to distance himself from the work now. Banksy never confirmed it was his to begin with, so Ace Gallery and every other greedy art-star f**ker can piss off. The irony of it all is that the boys who play the “art is exclusive” BS game so well are now being pushed out by their own rules of engagement so they have to resort to “stealing” the work. They can own the art all they want; but they’ll never own the street.” -Daniel Lahoda, Owner, www.jetsetgraffiti.con

That's where you're wrong. They paid for his flight and s**t, and he flew over to help Ron English. Exactly, little man - he flew over with Ron English as his bit ch. Not Banksy's guest, not buying through Banksy. Flew in with Ron English and was thought of as Ron's bit ch by all who met him. But, hey, carry on. It's all part of that marvellous Lahoda sevice and charm, eh?

He just bought them and the palestinians sold them???? So what were all the ones he was selling on here then? Let's see... He has been banned from the Giant He has been banned from Expressobeans He has been banned from Wallkandy He has been banned from here (I think) perhaps he just realised he was not welcome and f**ked off... He was banned from the BMW forum I guess all that happened because of all his "good work" right? And where are these Dface Riots (from the "sold out" edition) that he is selling on ebay coming from? The guy is a liar, a thief and a con-man. Are you totally blind? Wake up! It's not us being manipulated.

Hmmmm, so are we expected to think that it's a coincidence that Mr.B chose this property to put a piece up. I mean there are literally millions of walls in LA and this is the one he picked. Am I wrong to assume that B knew this, and will most likely get a piece of the action from the sale? I don't know about "getting a piece of the action from the sale", but it would be a pretty good way to get people fired up like it has and keep talking about it.

Gah someone missed the memo www.ukstreetart.co.uk/2010/04/14/banksy-heist-in-la/ . It's kind of important JSG isn't portrayed as some sort of Banksy messiah here. "inshallah", how come you know so much about JSG? You're a bloody disgrace, but seeing as you've taken the time to respond to me, I'm going to do the same to you. From Daniel Lahoda: Maybe you should have thought about that when flipping countless Gold flags from SG07 Daniel, and ripping off countless people over the years? Well, he did go to Palestine with Ron English and Swoon as a guest of Banksy, Can you elaborate on guest of Banksy please? What source? Nice boast. People have lost money How very condescending, if only you knew etc. God willing, let us know how exactly has Lahoda contributed to the scene, other than making a lot of money illegitimately?

"inshallah", how come you know so much about JSG? Well he tried to rejoin the giant at least 3 times (and got busted and banned again each time) so I think there is a good chance this is probably JSG himself. Similar behaviour on EB...
