I decided to go for this in the end. I wasn't 100% sure on this image when POW first showed us but the bigger image looks nice. I'm hoping it will look brilliant in the flesh. Vhils was the best thing I saw at Cans and I really like his work after doing some research. Just got to sell a few bits now to pay for it so if anyone wants the stuff below give me a shout. agreed Bobby, the large image looks the business. anyone know where the cityscape is from? |

I still haven't received the email to my work address so checked our exchange logs. Another guy in my company received the email at 12:04:33 yet my email didn't even get delivered to our server??? Definately a problem their end!

missed by a mile!, can't win em all, the pow email seems to go off in batches with about 10mins in between, though thats not to say its premeditated.
as far as the release goes, it'll be interesting to hear when this arrive if it has translated well, i hope so,its a quality piece of work & it's good to see someone coming at this scene from new, different angles.

for those who don't get emails - I 'believe' that POW's mailing list is full - I used to get the mails then changed email and signed up again - now joy ever - tried a few addresses - no joy...
BUT I found an old email and updated the contact address on the mailing list now I get them again.... but only to that address
Any addresses added more recently don't work - it's nothing to do with Spam filters - coz once I got them no problem straight into the IN box no farting around with filters
ps POW don't operate their own mailing list - its a company called iContact
ONLY a THEORY ....

I've (over)heard various possible reasons in the past as to why this may be happening to other people (things like spam filters etc etc.) but I'm afraid I'm a little bit thick when it comes to getting to the bottom of it. Can someone please explain to me (in simpleton's terms  ) what I need to be checking / altering on my computer settings? Or should I be getting onto my Service Provider and telling them to let POW's E-Mails through? (what address to the e-mails get sent from?) I use Outlook Express as my E-Mail client and my antivirus jiggery-pokery is Norton 360, if that helps. Many thanks. |

Many thanks. seidbereit As said by a forum member before - it has nothing to do with you email setting - its just how long you have been on the list. In short, why do POW want to add to the mailing list - as it will cost them further £'s to manage this list externally and they already sell out in seconds. If you are on the list - good on you - if you are not - does not look like its going to happen. If any new member has managed to get email from POW - I will eat my hat, foot and arm. |

I signed up to the POW mailing list with a gmail address. Got one email from them a looooong time ago then it stopped. Signed up again with my work email and my gmail address again and nothing has come through. Raised it with POW following the Titifreak Sempre release and they told me that my details were on the list and there was nothing more they could do about it. Once the addresses are on the list the process is managed by a third party provider. Apparently, not very well...
Come on POW, sort it out!

i signed up this year i think or maybe just by end of last, i recieve some but not all, i think it is luck really, do you thihnk POW might try the Fair Q system out??

The theory about new subscribers not receiving must be right. I work in IT and have checked our exchange server logs and can see that their email did not even try to deliver to me. A colleague who has been on it for a long time did get it.
Very poor! It's not difficult. POW get yourself a new provider!

I signed up back in the day 2003? I clicked on the modify my subscription link in an old POW mail and simley changed the address and hey presto - I did this earlier this year - so no Banksy Action yet  NOW BACK TO THE ART - I missed out on this one too. Nice though - scared by the bleach a bit! |

still no email.....   It works for some and not for others. I've never had a POW release email, but when I enter my emails, it says I'm already on the list Sadly it's not something they care enough about to act on. I'vetried to feed this back to Dora and she just swats me away like an annoying fly!  |
