Shame.
However I honestly believe if this flipper had had the balls to put it as an auction they would get this price easily and probably more.

The more images I see of these, the more it's becoming clear to me I missed out on something quite special . To all of those who did bag one, well done! They look smashing so far. Can anyone else upload a few snaps to give additional examples please? I'm enjoying seeing them closer up. Thanks to those who have. Enjoy all!

I got one in the basket and passed it up to another forum member - so if you see number 30 floating around on ebay then a particular somebody owes me a pint or two ...and i know where he lives

If I was a flipper I would worry putting a picture of their print on ebay so early- As there is only 100 printed and each print so individual it would not take much for POW to recognise the print number and ban the buyer from future purchases.

At the end of the day my opinion is POW is a business, after a print is bought, paid for and dispatched. I don't reckon they care! The money is in the bank. I personally dont have a problem with someone selling a print once its in hand, just makes me annoyed thats all, but its their print therefore its their right I suppose. Aint nothin we can do! Does anyone actually know anyone thats been banned for flipping a print, after its in hand. I reckon you would only get banned for using up their bandwidth!

Mine turned up this morning and was also wound tighter than a gnat's chaff. It's been flattening-out today and I've only had a good look at it this evening.
I think it's a show-stopping image produced by an intriguing experimental process. I like the faint possibility that it might decay over time, seems to echo the cityscape which is either decaying or evolving from the roots?
I don't quiet know what Vhils is saying to me yet but I will enjoy thinking about it while it's on the wall. I really like the sort of 'suspended' mood of 2 kids at the edge of the city and 'something' is about to happen! Reminiscent of 'Bladerunner' or 'The Wizard of Oz' even?
Anyway, just my t u p p e n c e worth (can we say tuppence round here?).

Agreed. I think that's how you can tell a real flipper though.
They always use the Buy it Now option. Too scared I guess that they might not make as much as they like. However I think this always backfires on them as people seem less inclined to just Buy it Now. Even if auctions go for higher amounts. Bizarre.

Just collected mine and it looks really nice in the flesh. Very pleased. Just need it to flatten out a bit so I can have a proper look.

Oh my god. Mine arrived this morning. And OH MY GOD. IT'S MIND BLOWING. I was speechless when I opened, not only is it a really nice size, not too huge just perfect, but it's just classic. It's AMAZING.
I think POW may have discovered their new star. There is nothing gimmicky about it, it's really moving. I can't get my head around why it's had this effect on me, but seriously it's legendary. I never thought I'd find someone who made me feel the way early Banksy and Faile did in 1999 but Vhils has done it.
So refreshing, and so much better than the jpegs. THANK YOU POW for discovering him!

There's only one place number 30's going snakes, and it will be on the wall!! That said, i do owe you at least one pint already...

It's nice to have a smaller print than I've been getting recently. It's been costing me a fortune to get the large prints framed!!! Mine has been splattered so much at the top you can see where the paper was clipped up to do it as there is a perfectly square white bit. Looks a bit weird but I think it adds to the character. The way it has been done with the bleach looks superb too. It really does look nice up close. ;D I'd recommend anyone who is teetering on the edge of getting one or not to go for it.

Oh wow yeah that sounds nice, adds a bit of character, makes it more unique I guess! I just think Vhils is a real artist in the way Banksy is. It's exciting to have a print by him!

There's another Vhils on Ebay now, the first two Buy It Now's sold for £600! Wow... me thinks this print is going to keep on rising! It's a classic. I feel lucky to have got one direct from POW now.

Shame. I thought this one had done well to not feature too heavily on the bay.
At least we know of a good handfull that are gonna go up on the walls. I'm looking forward to seeing some framed. I think we will see quite a lot of variety with this one.
Who's gonna be first.......

I made the leap and paid £600 on Ebay for one of these.
I’m pissed at having to fork out 600rips as I’ve been watching POW like a hawk over the last few weeks (I think my employer filters out their emails), hoping to pick one up from there as I think Vhils is class; something a little different from the run of the mill satirical stencil art.
I haven’t really got the cash spare so am going to part with a Nick Walker Vandal Triptych, which I’m a little gutted about.
Would be interested to know if others would have done the same, or have I completely lost the plot???
