Please tell me how it is.. will buy one if I have some money again maybe In my hunble opinion, it's an awesome book, I don't believe they're making any mony on it, there's about 4 spot colours in it, tons of half leaves between pages, the papaer is amazing and the content is stunning. Well worth it I think... I didn't hesitate.

The only reason I didnt snag one is because an extra 45lbs to get it accross the pond. Looks absolutely amazing though. I would love to own a copy.

hm.. Paul Jones called me lately about something totally different but we talked about the book and he worked for years to accomplish this! maybe nice to tell that auction houses are ordering multiple copies to authenticate Adam Neates work, bit of a strange method if you ask me, but Paul assured me this was happening.
Dont think Elms is making any money on this no! Once heared (from a publisher) that for this kind of high profile books you need to sell at least 2000 copies.. Elms clearly choose for an smaller edition and a higher price, almost impossible to get any profit I think..
Cant wait to see some more reactions.. 200 gbp (inc. shipping) is a large amount for me now so want to make a good decision.
cheers

I know print and I on seeing that book, you're right Jopkop, no way they're on a profit from it... I reckon they're barely coveing their costs... I'm so chuffed I got one.

£175 is a large amount of cash before Christmas, so for me to say it was worth every penny isn't something to say lightly - but it is. Well produced, and like someone said earlier - a bible.

I've been on the fence because of the shipping as well. Comes close to about $85 usd. Fiona did mention she would ship standard / uninsured for less, which might put me over the edge to do it.

I think these 2 pictures (red portrait 2006 and arms out stretched) are my favourite neate pictures of all time. (off topic but just saw it on the new revamped site)

Arms out stretched is mesmerizing up close(if it's the same one) In a room with some very nice pieces but the Neate totally absorbs me
