There's a show this week, Friday, at Leeds College of Art and Design featuring Cyclops, Sweet Toof and Tek 33, which we think is also the date of the launch of a limited book/catalogue. This is the first time they've all shown together as a crew, so should be interesting. What's even more interesting is that the college have given the ok for them to paint on site, so it's anybodies guess what that will lead to. Tek's paintings are in the Saatchi collection, and some of his oil paintings are going to be on display, and Sweet Toof and Cyclops will be showing collaborative and solo studio work, alongside installations on site. Where abouts is Leeds college of Art and Design?
I'm not far from Leeds but dont have a clue where it is.

Tek 33(James Jessop)) is giving a talk at Leeds College of Art & Design @ 4pm on 16th May, in the Studio Theatre ,Blenheim walk ,Leeds college of art & Design.This will be an illustrated talk covering his career as both a graphitti artist and a painter from 1986-2008.With contributions from Martin Lea brown (Sweet Toof) and Lucas Price (Cyclops) Immediately after this in The Mosiac cafe 'BURNING CANDY' - (Sweet Toof ,Cyclops and Tek 33 - The 3 members of Burning Candy) are holding a joint exibition at Leeds College of art & Design -Which is being presented by Sartorial Contempory Arts. May 16 - June 27 2008. Leeds College of Art & design Blenheim Walk Leeds LS2 9AQ This exibition will also be appearing at Sartorial art's gallery in London 9October 16-november 11. I do not know if there is anything for sale

For all those who pm'ed, follow the link to find out where you need to be friday. Could all those who want to come, please pm full names plus any additionals ( plus 1,2 etc) and we'll make sure you're on the list. There will be a limited number of signed, numbered books available on the night. This will also be available through Magma and the Tate book store at a later date. Anyone know if any of these Burning Candy books are left? I searched Tate and Magma online shops and there's no mention of them.
