At the end of almost every Sundance screening, a Q&A session between the director/actors and the audience is standard practice. The Q&A is one of the highlights of seeing the movie at the film festival rather than just at the local cinema.

I thoroughly enjoyed the film, it's not going to teach many people here much about Banksy, but it was very enlightening to MBW's relationship with him, Shepard Fairey, etc. Amazing footage of work being created and executed. The scene in Banksy's studio was jaw dropping. Not surprisingly, no directorial intro (just a nice letter from B, read by the president of Sundance), nor Q&A after. I did see the vip's received an envelope with what appeared to be a Diana note, but can't confirm that. All in all, a fascinating look in to what constitutes a "street artist" and what distinguishes people like Banksy, Invader, Swoon and the like from MBW.

Anything is possible. However, as I am anything but a VIP, we'll have to find out from someone else. Getting in to the premier was good enough for me.

yeah they got a di-faced tenner as an invite to the "small drinks event" afterwards. Loads more chat about the movie last night on the other thread.

Just got back from Main Street, Park City. The rat at the back of the Egyptian Theatre is now covered in perspex and black tape, and white paint has been thrown over the face of the camera man on the side of Java Cow (someone has had a go at cleaning it off though). I have photos which I will upload when I get back to the UK.

After receiving advice from The Keszler Gallery in NYC, the local Egyptian Theater company in Park City is hoping to sell one of the Banksy rats with 3d glasses for $100k.

Leave comments on the newspaper website with feedback on their proposed sale. I would prefer it be moved 100 yards down the street to the excellent new museum so that it can be preserved for all to enjoy for years to come.

Unfortunately not. I'm kinda guessing that it didn't quite work as well as B would have hoped and then he just hand sprayed the white over the top.
