Just want to point out, the "Sun" is actually a Halo. Just a different, more traditional way to draw one. Yellow does look a bit egg like though. Nice if there's a gold version. Fairly clever image. Not a pretty one for many walls, but a nice piece of art. I got that... e.g.: www.corbisimages.com/images/EL006186.jpg?size=67&uid=903F312D-F9B7-4532-85F5-C30D21E64E47I just think that the 'hollow' halo is much more effective (along with added 'skin tone')

IMO, Dolk's work is usually more clever than Banksy's ::Ducks:: In this case, I think that the painted 'halo' image would have been more effective: also, as in the Halo piece, I think that a 'skin tone' is needed for the print... Livens it up a bit. imo the halo makes it a bit too over-obvious

Livens it up a bit. Definitely should be the halo hand painted. This is a quality bit of work, definitely loses a lot by having such a clean finished perfect halo

Its also this type of work which is sadly missed by POW this year. As a child I have a strong memory of Father Herbert in primary school, he was in full decal during an RE lesson, grabbing a 9 year old by the shirt round his neck screaming 'do you want to die boy!'
We are all sinners, but these guys really do take the piss a lot.

Not for £200 and an edition of 150. His outdoor stuff is so good, but don't like the prints much.

IMO this image is way better than Banksy's No ball games print.. £200 for an edition of 150 is a reasonable price.. eventually it will sell out..

mrtibbs likes this Dolk print very much, and would not mind having a priest on his walls. Infact he would welcome it.

I bet it is still availble! For 200 pounds or $350 U.S they can just keep em.... If they were serious about selling this they would have priced it better, say about 100-125 pounds would be correct to me.

Yeah, I am a big Dolk fan and own most of his prints but haven't bought any of the last three because it seems to me that the prices have increased while the images have been getting weaker. In the past I may have bought prints which I was initially not so keen on because it was affordable (prisoner springs to mind). As well as that, I really like the messy graffiti style of Grenade Lovers or Zooicide but the last 4 or 5 prints have been way too clean with the image plonked right in the middle of an oversized white space. Hopefully the fact that two of the last three prints are still available will mean that HMP will go back to producing affordable, quality Dolk prints.
