Do like this. If that yellow paint is THICK, then I'll like it even more.

it is missing the typical dolk style by just looking at it I wouldn't know it is a dolk

I stand corrected. I have to say I really like the street version of it, it could be the larger scale or the bolder colour... the halo looks better and all. But on the wall every day... not sure. Could be the Catholic upbringing thing too as mentioned above.

Heres the streetpiece. It was done earlier this year in Oslo and is HUGE. Cool print, but it looks cooler on the streets!

IMO, Dolk's work is usually more clever than Banksy's ::Ducks:: In this case, I think that the painted 'halo' image would have been more effective: also, as in the Halo piece, I think that a 'skin tone' is needed for the print... Livens it up a bit.

The painted halo just works much better than the print version IMO. I would really love to see his wheelchair lovers in print.

Something about this print isn't making me too excited (maybe it's because the yellow on the print reminds me a bit of an egg yolk). Maybe it'll grow on me by the time it drops. I also have to agree that upon first glance, this did not have the signature Dolk style.

I think most would agree: Dolk Priest minus Sun (or yellow ball?), plus halo, plus skin tone = $$$

I think most would agree: Dolk Priest minus Sun (or yellow ball?), plus halo, plus skin tone = $$$ I was just thinking that the skin tone was a piece that would have made it pop much more. It's just too "clean" without it, and needs to be dirtied up a bit.

Just want to point out, the "Sun" is actually a Halo. Just a different, more traditional way to draw one.
Yellow does look a bit egg like though. Nice if there's a gold version.
Fairly clever image. Not a pretty one for many walls, but a nice piece of art.
