I'm surprised they took so long to put these on the site to be honest. I've had the orange/grey and the pink(more like grape)/blue one too at least a month. They really are very very nice (overspray galore!) ;D ;D    |

They don't weigh very much at all - it's quite thin metal, like a panel off the side of a filing cabinet, with an lip around all four sides about 2cm thick with holes in it where it was fixed to the rest of the cabinet.

Just received 4 bespoke canvasses from Ben this morning! well sweet, 2 in circus font and 2 in the vandals font, he's a top bloke and so nice to deal with!

Just received 4 bespoke canvasses from Ben this morning! well sweet, 2 in circus font and 2 in the vandals font, he's a top bloke and so nice to deal with! Mmmmm... photos please! I have a bespoke one coming from him soon too (he was just finishing it a few days ago he said - crikey he's been busy this week!!) as well as a second canvas he'd done off his own bat and which I'd have been a complete idiot to pass on! ;D I probably won't have them for a week or so though as he still has to sort out someone to do shipping for them. EDIT: almost rude not to say I agree totally about how great he is to deal with. Absolutely top guy! |

It works dude, when i bought the impure idols set i told my misses i was on nights, then when they were framed she was like when did you find the money for them? I said they were in the spare room just had a change around with some pieces, bought them at the ghetto  she will never know |

Nice one Jamieb for recommending getting individual letters from Ben! I had 2 letters in pink on black like his circus font love canvas, and 2 letters with black, white on grey slab font vandals style! well pleased with them! will post pics as soon as i've worked out how to post them (I know there's a thread on here about it!) recently had my Banksy BME (bought back in the day) framed and Nick Walker TMA London so will post those up for for viewing pleasures! Jamie go get your canvas lad, you'll be well chuffed!

£75 for approx 10"x10" canvas each, I didn't specify a size just had a price and that's how they came back, the other slab style is slightly skinnier in width but still cool! recommend the 10"x10" and vibrant colour on black, the side of the canvasses have drips down them which look really good and they're all signed on the back! I did brief Ben as to what I wanted but it would also be interesting to give him some type and say do watch'ya like and see what comes back! It's so refreshing to be able to e-mail an artist direct and get bespoke pieces without any hastle...kinda how Nick Walker was before Bonhams type thing!

Will do my best to post them up this weekend...the canvasses are really sweet and at that price it's nice to have an original at a good price! It normally takes Ben about a week or so, so get in there before he's inundated!!

Just to add to that, while I was talking (i.e. emails back and forth) to Ben about the commissioned piece he's doing/done he got onto the subject of the single letter canvases too (as I want a couple for my brother and his missus - just their initials) and when I expressed pleasant surprise at them only costing £75 each this is how Ben replied: "...the reason i still paint the small individual letters for £75.00 is i really want to give younger and not so well off people an entrance point into buying art, i would like to contimnue selling them for this price for ever, if i stop it makes all the ones i have painted worth a lot more, but as long as you can buy them from me for £75 you should not have to pay £500 for one on Ebay"Makes you want to hug him, really ;D |
