I love Eines stuff but imo these are too expensive in the current climate for an edition of 10 & even being a fan i must admit the Letters are getting a bit repetitive now.

Pretty boring. Time to move on from this stuff. £1750? This or three or four micallef print's? tricky one. haaa  No competition! Eine all the way. Seriously? Where's the art, the idea, the talent. Eine's stolen someone else's idea and repeated until bored. |

The D's circle bugs me as it seems so different from the others although I would rather they were all of that sprayed effect as it looks far superior to the rest.
I personally would prefer a circus canvas over this release which is classic Eine. Really looking forward to the Nelly Duff print/canvas which will hopefully reinstate my love for his work. Bought the 'tasty P' print last year but haven't felt anything for any release since. 'Exciting' would have had the potential but its execution was disappointing in my opinion.

I just dont get these, i like the Smileys he did for Andenken and also the Andy Warhol works but dont understand all the alphabet works, but thats just me.

WE'RE GOING INTO DEEP HARD TIMES, RECESSION IS UPON US IF NOT ALREADY HERE. Uhm, if not already here? We're already well into it, almost 2 years now by some accounts, we're possibly even at the mid/lowpoint. That is if the insane stock market rally of the last two weeks is a correct predictor. Could be a head fake though. But the funniest part of your post is the line at the bottom. Surely that's a joke? You, complaining about the recession yet screaming in all caps that "cash is waiting!" Buying all banksy prints. f**king hilarious you are man. I bet you're the type of carpet bagging scum that trolled through new orleans buying up peoples flooded homes for $5 and selling them months later for 20 grand.  I would not say we're been in recession since march 2007. Maybe 3rd quarter of 2008 would be a better indication. your obviously are thesort that hate bankers, investors, brokers, people in big houses and driving super cars that cost stupid amounts of money. correct? well i was not in new orleans buying up land for peanuts but if its going that cheap even @ 20k its worth a punt. Since 1900 the term has been used more widely in the US to describe outsiders' attempting to gain economic advantage, especially in areas to which they previously had no connection.(in your case the area of 'urban art' or even just 'art.') I am sure that deep down Eine has some talent buried, but his alphabet is a one trick pony. And no matter what the 'informed' people on here tell the alphabet pieces are a joke gone too far, and you would be an idiot to indulge Eine anymore by buying this unimaginative bollox. Spend your money on something more interesting and aesthetically more pleasing.

This made me laugh - not quite sure what the link between liking this and having no mates/girlfriend is though... Personally don't 'get' Eine and never have but that's my opinion and if I had £1750 spare wouldn't touch this with a barge pole - I tend to agree with folks who suggest that £1750 is a bit rich. The UK economy isn't at the same place since the froth came off in Q3, 2007 and this in my opinion should be recognised by Galleries. You should see the prices that Brandler Gallery in Brentwood is still trying to acheive....if you alienate your core business to a degree that they can't afford your wares they won't come back and by the time they do you won't be there anymore. P.S. Most Bankers are civil servants now |

I will tell you why Pez, it is because people are obviously not getting the message. Eine's continuous rehash of the alphabet, with or without the 'W' is just a blatant rip off, and yes you are a mug if you waste your money on it. As long as he continues with this unimaginative nonsense then I will continue to vent my spleen on the matter. But, I did say that I liked Eine's Andy Warhol prints so I am not dismissing him totally. And as far as that charlatan, rip off merchant Hirst goes, I will never ever stop having a go at him unless he does something original and becomes what he is supposed to be, an artist. I wont be holding my breath.

I think you are getting your knickers in a twist goffy, there are far more deserving people of your harsh crticism. Eine is a very hard working, friendly dude, with time for anyone. Regarding the price, any cheaper they would probably be bought and flipped. I also really hope you have seen an Eine canvas in the flesh before, as in my opinion they are technical masterpieces.
I myself like this release but unfortunately don't have that much to splash on a canvas, but Eine also releases many prints for the budget consumer so happy days.

It's already been said, Eine is one of the major names in this scene. He helped out and painted with Banksy back in the day. He has painted shutters and some of the biggest pieces all over London. He printed most of the major prints at P.O.W. ink_d Gallery, Brighton have some nice Eine stuff at the moment.
