is that chimp wearing winkle-pickers? ;D truly awful, I dont think HMP printing process is doing Dolk any favours, Zoocide looked sloppy, Mona looked worst, this looks dreadful. Have you a a Dolk print? Mona was great and Yes the Boy Can Paint I have had a few, but gave them to various members and fundraisers, one member who's brother has leukemia, so donated Officer Down, which i thought was a great print - the quality was good, but Zoocide, Mona and now this, just the texture of the print doesnt look right - and for it to hit my walls, the quality of the piece is just as important. |

Just lookin at the picture a bit more ;D Imagine if he produced just the Monkey as a cardboard cut out that you could then put up against your own framed pictures  Have I gone crazy or would that be a good bit of fun ;D A chimp's face alone (done well) could result in me parting with thousands of pounds in cash being exchanged. Have to totaly disagree with this, I have Zooicide, Prisoner and did have an Officer Down and think HMP have produced some of the best quality prints out there. They have a truely hand sprayed look to them which is what the original sprayed stencils would have looked like. Far better than the "processed" poster look many places have. |

Think this is pretty poor imo,
More monkeys and Warhol references - NO! Also doesn't look as 'finished' as it could be :/ Pretty steep pricing too, although I agree that it's nice to see a square shaped print.

Im begining to think Dolk's work stands head and shoulders above other stencil artists efforts (bar the girl with the paint brushes, I just don't get that one). For me only Banksy's street work betters it, I think in terms of prints they are very equal.
