No disrespect to a very accomplished artist but IMO this particular print could have been done by 15 of this forum's artists and could have been released anytime over the last 5 years. I am glad to see the artist's touch is starting to be appreciated again rather than an artist producing anonymous prints that rely on some 'witty' theme. I know that DOLK does not normally do this.

First off, why is it so important to sell out all the prints in an hour?? I'm serious! If that's the deal then most prints are under priced!? I think dolk and hmp price their prints quite right! Even if it takes a month to sell out, it's still wert good!
Got to Say thanks to the man himself for giving me one of the best christmas gifslts of the year!! Looking forward to recieving it !!

Its gotta always be nice to sell out fast ;D Just for the Artist to know that he has people all over the World loving his work and are eager to see what he comes out with next. It shows how much his work is appreciated ;D

No disrespect to your opinion or the 15 of the artists you refer to but I think you're wrong. The only other artist that I think could have produced this is Banksy. There's plenty of artists on here that can cut a stencil, most likely have more detail, and appear to perhaps be technically better, but none have the feel and composition that Dolk and Banksy are able to produce. It's this ablilty that lifts Dolk, Banksy, Bast, Faile and Supine above most other street artists to another level. IMO of course, and yes I have bought the print

Well I would agree with you that they are a cut above the rest. But in terms of this silkscreen print that is not saying much for the new crop of stencil cutters then. Its not exactly rammed with 'feeling' and the composition is not particularly groundbreaking. Its a very long armed chimp in pointy shoes with a warhol painting. A critique on the art world no doubt. Hang on its nearly sold out. Hav'nt we seen this before? How apt. I guess I will get my coat.

Im not saying its bad for an artist not to sell out in seconds. But to be honest. Its not bad to sell out a run of 250 priced at 150 in a couple of days either!? The first thing people talk about is it that it wont sell out in minutes. That irritates me a bit! :S First off, why is it so important to sell out all the prints in an hour?? I'm serious! I thought you were a dude over in ebeans.... I didn't know what you where talking about at first... let me fix that. Fixed... initially, I thought you were trying to imply that Ebeans and this forum were mutually exclusive

Yea his recent rural work with Pobel was great; above and beyond the last two print releases! He definitely needs a comeback print in 2009. "Zooicide" best print to date!
