Dazlad is spot on - if you like buy. But it is a very commercial image and Dolk has had a fair bit of extra exposure through Cans - The Times etc, etc. That's why they have decided to charge £150 and I think it will sell well.

I agee, it may go for £200+ max...then again it's hard to tell really. I think it's down to how much people are willing to spend on a DOLK. unless it's a banksy, I wouldn't spend more than £250 on any other artist (not including a canvas...)

Does anyone have a source for premade 70 x 70 frames ? Square prints are lovely (EINE ) but a custom frame stings a bit when you are scraping to pay for the print.

They have a pretty s**te print in them which you can whip out and then go to the local art shop / framers and get them to cut some mount board to size for you

LOVED THE CONTRAST OF THE REALLY DARK AND THE COLOURS. f**k typed in caps by accident and cant be bothered to re-type. It also had quite an eerie feel to it with the girls eyes.

i agree, i would have preferred the girl with the paintbrush from "cans" as a print release compared to the one millionth variation of the mona-lisa-theme...it seems to me it is a running gag between the artists to put up their own "funny idea" of a mona lisa, or is it just a lack of creativity in the end...?

Not for me will be able to pick one off ebay cheaper at that price. I think you need to clear your browser cache. Your ebay is obviously stuck on 1983. Which other dolk prints are selling below release price? I'll gladly pay cost on a zooicide, GWT or BK.

190 sold already? I am actually surprised that they have sold this fast to be honest. I would have expected at least 2 days to sell out.

Being that Dolk lives in Norway, anyone notice how Girl with Paint Brushes from CANS was slightly influenced by Edvard Munch (famous Norwegian painter)? Definitely had that same creepy vibe in many of Munch's paintings.....
