do you drink diet coke with aspartain in it ( carcenagenic) feed your kids sweets with e number ( mess them up) do you vote tory or labour like chuck berry ( reported fiddler ) every one has a veiw and is dam well welcome to it if it agrees with mine or not thats up to you there are worse things in the world than having a veiw on politics . I suppose that sounds like if you are welocome to your own veiw you can take your prints down and you can ( and did) But there are worse things going on around you all day and you, i and possibly we do nothing about them. If you like them put them up thats all you ever get ramed down your throat on here buy it if you like, frame what you like.

Blek is a legend. I don't love all his work but some of his images are pure classics. Years from now when they write about street art you better believe that Blek will get some ink.
If Nick Walkers work is in such demand, I'd certainly keep a close eye on Blek's stuff as I think he's got way more cred.
I guess these upcoming auctions will tell us a thing or two.
My guess: the Blek's go for big bucks. It's his time.

I agree 10-15 years he will be remembered with banksy as the guys who were at the forefront of the scene and his prices will be 20 times what they are today.

Disagree Just because someone is there at the start doesn't mean their work is the best. I'm sure in art history many artists who were there at the start of certain movements aren't even remembered now as their work is completely eclipsed by those who came later

but the thing is, with the exception of Banksy who else really has eclipsed Blek? You have to give credit where credit is due, he has been going 30 years and he is still making the news!

he may have been going for 30 years, but he's been relatively unknown for 27 of them!
