Hey all, Thought I should post some pics of my new INVADER Pride and Joy that I just got back from the framers!! Great story too. Went for a skate through the neighborhood a couple weeks back and happened upon this little animal humane society outpost thingy that I walk by everyday on the way to the subway and noticed a t-shirt in the window that caught my attention. I'd never actually been into the store before so I decided I should check it out and show them some support since my girlfriend is a big animal lover. Anyway, The entrance to the store is set in below street-level and as I'm walking down I noticed that they had kind of a cool doormat -- then it hit me -- holy s**t -- that's an invader piece that they're using as a doormat!!! I totally disregarded the shirt idea and went in asking about the invader doormat. they had no idea what I was on about only that it showed up down there about a year ago and it kind of worked as a doormat -- I told them Invader is a famous streetartist and they didn't really get it, but decided that since I liked it so much I could have it!! I offered up some cash but they weren't interested so I bought two t-shirts as a sort of donation.. in a way. Brought it home to the apartment -- girlfriend was stoked about the shirts and then thought I was disgusting for even touching the invader piece from literally the streets of New York and the rest is history. Hahaha! I live in America, but I'm actually not American Are you an Australian of English parentage living in the US? Nah, but I come from a country that used to be a colony of you bloody Brits! ;D Thus, I grew up spelling 'colour' with a 'u' and 'centre' instead of 'center', but had to change my ways since I went to college in the US. Very close to Australia, have lived there for quite a bit (am actually a permanent resident), so I absorbed some of the colloquialisms from there as well. So... any guesses to where I'm originally from? ;D

Pretty much all the extras used in the Lord of The Rings films came from Portland Coz it saved the film company millions in makeup ;D

Portland? ;D (dunt worry, its a Dorset joke) Its a fact! Pretty much all the extras used in the Lord of The Rings films came from Portland Coz it saved the film company millions in makeup ;D LOL!!!!!!! I had to do a little research there - the only Portland I knew was in Oregon, USA. So I'm guessing the inside joke is that peeps from Portland are less-than-attractive? ;D In that case, I am definitely NOT from Portland. *ahem*.
