quite a change in style for static - like it too Static are a collective so I would imagine the style changes depending on which member has the biggest input on each design. Not sure on this one myself I think I prefer the simpler 2-3 colour stuff.

Yet another print that will give the kid's nightmares. What does it mean? Yeah ;D Its the sort of print that would look great at the end of a dark hallway, with a small spotlight shining at it

Is the print actually torn on the edges or is that printed onto the paper?
I think it would be cool if the edges of the paper were ripped as shown.

Please take this constructively but this looks like a rushed photoshop image, executed with minimal effort. The bat is cheap looking and no attempt has been made to make it fit the image. To the point that the bat pointed downward has no one holding it and teh scale of the bat crossing over his head is physically impossible. The pinyata (sic) is just thrown on top, why not add grain so it becomes part of the image.
I can understand an idea being mocked up, but this is no more than a detail for an idea. Surely more time and effort should have been made to make it look like one image, as opposed to an image with stuff cut and pasted on top?

Static Chinook Chandelier's aren't they ...which have been properly 'photoshoped in' ... unlike the bats etc which I assumed were meant to 'look' added

You're right, the chinooks have been put in properly, so this is a deliberate image, in which case, I just don't like it and take back the constructive criticism.

I think Static could start a few fashion ;D Get a model kit for a Chinook, drill a hole in the middle of the body of it, put the wire from your ceiling light in the holes and rewire the light ;D Everyone can have a real Chinook Chandelier ;D Im off to Habitat HQ with the idea!

How many of you are in the collective Static and can we expect more styles in the future? Disclaimer: sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere! Hi guys, sorry for the delay in replying, we have been down at the studio all day getting things sorted, There are two of us in Static one from a fine art/ design background and one from a graphic design background so our style and influences differ from time to time. Which explains why our print style may change and evolve Thanks to everyone who ordered your prints yesterday and today, we are in process of getting them posted and you will have them with you ASAP
