I saw a black one today with hand painted gold lettering and i must say they looked pretty cool. Infact I saw hundreds of them in a row, looked like the terra-cotta LV army!!!

Alexa has refused to refund my purchases despite numerous requests. I have contacted the credit card co to dispute the charge. The last response from TLSG advised "we are not doing refunds until we access all requests and will deal with accordingly. I will let you the update when this becomes viable." WTF does that mean? You should make quite clear that you are not ASKING for a refund, you are DEMANDING it under the distance selling regulations as is your right. Also tell them that if they refuse the refund you will issue a chargeback via your credit card company which will cost them money. It's disgraceful behaviour! POWER OF THE FORUM. JUST BOYCOT TLSG

Expecting to get shot down in flames here, but, er ..., all my dealings with tlsg have been excellent. Understand that they have had unexpected problems completing these timely. And dont they add something pretty significant to this art genre - with fabulous shows, previews, etc. I am pleased tlsg do what they do. Just my 2p. Peace

^ agree
things take ages to arrive in the 'urban art' world, it's pretty much a given. always a pleasant surprise if something takes less than a week to turn up. to be blunt, since the sculpture release beejoir prices have taken a bit of a hit and i can't help but think that some people are using the delay issue as a scapegoat

Peace Am I being a bit simple here when I say that the release of anything should only be when the item(s) are in hand or the gallery should state clearly "expect to receive the item in x days". It's not about the quality of the shows or whatever it's about basic customer service. I am not suggesting it is the case, but it also happens to be a healthy thing for a company's cash flow to receive and clear the sale before paying for the purchase!

i have seen the prototypes in lsg, they are sculpted extremely well and finished excellently. i know, i studied 3d design and am a mould maker and sculpter myself, i have bought one, based on what i held in my hand. yes the wait is long but craftsmanship cannot be rushed.
big up to beejoir for not getting them punched out in a sweat shop in china!
this forum is full of hate, i just don't get it...

Got my gold one today. Quite underwhelmed by it to be honest. I'm not sure what's "artist designed" about the box - It's just a box in Louis Vuitton colours with the LV monogram all over it. You can definitely tell it's been "individually packaged" though!
Having said that, it is for charity, and it seems like TLSG had a bit of a nightmare with these, so I'm not going to complain too much.

Basically a statue of a child (with broken off limbs due to poor packing) taking a 5hit.
Wow! I must have one!
