Why is it that the first print cost so much more. It is really good but too expensive

I think it was Laz testing the market, or thinking he could sell at any cost, this didn't happen so he lowered the cost but increased the edition.

He definitely got it right the second time round. But really do prefer the first print, however the new one is also good.

I think they are both good prints and the first is just quality but not good enough for me to spend that sort of money.

Hmmm.... from the pics of hand-finished ones I've seen so far I think I'm much happier with my regular edition one which arrived today to be honest. Looks absolutely brilliant. The earlier pics of HF ones (a page back) give me the impression that he lined them all up on a bench and walked down the row with a spraycan. Much prefer the quieter colours. Horses and courses I suppose. here you go. Comparing the signed vs the hand finished

I'd like to have had a hand finsihed piece but I still prefer the image of my 'just signed' print. Are the signed ones sold out or still available?

If anybody want the OLD print at below cost then drop me a pm... I bought it just before I met my Mrs and alas she doesn't, so it remains stored in a flat sleeve... It is a great print and I would rather let it go to a good home than not have it on the walls... Would also do a swap.

I think you have to look at near £200 for a decent frame nowadays, It's a little bit shocking when you take 5 or 6 prints in. If you are not hanging near a window why bother with UV, Anti glare glass, that will half the price alone..

thats very true ABC - I normally pay around the £100 mark for plainer framing, mounted and hinged onto museum board with Japanese paper hinges, but normal float glass. I then take care not to hang opposite windows or in direct sunlight etc.
The £194 was for framimg in the same manner with plain float glass, but obviously as the frame was so ornate - it cost a hell of a lot more than what I normally pay.
