IMHO, this print is very disappointing given the stunning images Connor has produced recently.

I love Conors painting style but where Neates work translates well through printed medium (as in giclee prints) rather than screen, i think conor would have been better to go for a giclee also.
I suppose the trend with the limited prints at the moment makes artists think they have to release prints when they work wont always translate as well. The other issue is that conors work is impressive in scale. The print in very large and with an image like this you would want a large border to display it correctly. 1.5m glazed frame? - I like the work but it has to be a very special print to justify a frame like that. IMHO

Well - I just went down to Laz for a look - to see one in the flesh, and I'm now the proud owner of one. (I really should't have - Im skint)
Fatal.
But, I've always wanted a Connor Harrington, and at this price - hard to turn down.
It's a massive print - very subdued colours.
oh - as someone asked earlier in the thread - it is signed.

Really can't afford it but conor's style is totally different and i will never be able to afford an original!

Is it a run of 50 becauise last print was of 100 and did not sell out? £750+vat is very expensive imo

the silly tart, she didnt tell me is was inc vat - going to teabag her later Class!!! Haven't heard that phrase for donkeys. ;D I've been looking forward to this print but it's doing nothing for me and I'm a a fan of CH. Think I'll take the chance and wait and see what the hand finished ones look like and possibly buy that one.  |

Taking apart the image from the artist, I do like the image. But considering the strength of Conor's work, I wouldn't have pulled this one as to make as a print. I'll take a big gamble and see if I can grab a hand-finished one and see if that adds a wow factor. |
