"Hush's new print which was pre-sold at his Dis-Grace-D show is having the final layers printed now and will be ready to ship at the start of next week at which point we will be contacting everyone who paid a deposit. A small number of remaining prints will be sold online." he has also correctly noted that I am one very sick individual ;D ;D |

That's a beauty. Hush's work seems to be progressing well. I love this and I loved the GG prints too. I was gutted to miss out. To those that took the risk and paid the deposit, I'm sure you're not too miffed at this stage!

I think this would look weird next to a geisha girl print - The geisha girl is very derivative of Manga/Anime (particularly the face), where as this looks more influenced by feudal Japanese art to my eyes...not sure they really go.

nice post bert... your right in the styles but think possibly they could sit well next to each other depending how you interpret each art piece... possibly one of the best prints i have seen this year... rather than hush just doing something quick you can tell he thought alot about the art piece... wish was still around to get his interpretation of it... like to think each image tells a story..s

yeah liking that a lot! love the face detail. and the tagging or whatever in the background. prefer this i think to the geisha. not getting either, but i really like them both.  |

I think this would hang great next to the Girl. It would not bother me in the slightest that the styles used for the faces contrast. In fact I think that issue would be an enhancer of each piece in context rather than a detractor.

Looks good, I imagine it looks amazing in the flesh as the Geisha did! I was gutted to not get the Geisha but am looking forward to receiving the warrior that I did risk pre-ordering!

I think it's a very strong image, inspired by the japanese art form. Also something you'll see on Yakuza tattoos. It's good that Hush dares to incorporate new elements and styles because it's a process of evolution. However, I prefer the Geisha as I like more feminine images and I like manga comics. Therefore if anyone would like to trade a Geisha for this when it's released, I'd be happy to swap.

That looks really good, I can see what Bert is saying above about the feudal style but the face of the warrior does have something manga-like around the mouth. Pretty damn nice overall.
Is it 25 red and 25 blue or are they all red?
