Nice spqr piece....again!
Not sure of the re-release feel it somewhat devalues (and not in just a $ sense) the previous releases. Its a bit like the 5th man study piece, limited to 3 but then released in 3 or more editions (not so limited after all) or the Faile rampage in brown, low edition and then the papermonster rampage edition -big, number on ebay -huge, image - now tiresome and devalued.
Good way to get some coin in though

Good way to get some coin in though i can understand anyone having doubts about releasing previous work. i think when you see the noses print, you'll understand why it had to be done. its going to look great. the girls on the perspex(looking through the shop window )and the drugs sitting at the back. also it is my canvas that the image was taken from , so really looking forward to seeing the final result. i know that SPQR has been asked, many times to do a print in this style with Noses(including by me). This isn't just about money, i can assure you of that, its about giving the image its proper home(imo).

I bought a noses of matt over and year ago now and I must say I not sure how I feel about the notion of another 20 being put out there! Perhaps I would of liked it better if it were a print release.

Hey guys... Slammer / Griffermans, yes it is a print on the back of the perspex, with the figures of the children applied to the front on vinyl to give a 3D perspective.. This is the same as limited edition print run, just with a twist... The canvases are stunning in there own right, from the other examples I've seen of finished perspex pieces I'm very confident these will look great, better than a print on paper, well I'll leave that for you guys to decide

I am sure it will look great and be enhanced by the different medium. I dont really think its about money, well as much as it cant be about money. I dont think he's that type of bloke.

I'd absolutely love one and there's no chance of it devaluing the original canvases since it would sit on my wall and stay there.....
Never been to the ideal home exhibition, first time for everything.....

Logical1 I too own this canvas my understanding is that each canvas done (I believe there were 3) originally that the older girl's coat was a different colour I remember the blue one and I have the pinky/purple one. Any idea what colour this one will be?

Any idea what colour this one will be? i believe that there are 9ish canvases all with different colour coats. there was also an edition hand sprayed on card all with the same colour coats, i think 10 of these. your noses canvas is a simiar colour to mine, mine looks a bit darker. This print on perspex should look great. really looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
