What this piece about ? if its just a small girl jumping in different colored puddles its well over priced and destined for the recycle bin as theres no real merit to this type of work. or is that the purpose ? please explain
I love the image, ok it doesn't have a message as such but the image is cute all the same! They are all hand done (not screen printed etc) so with this in mind I don't think the price is way out, a lot of time and effort gone into these and I think that should be reflected in the asking price!
I have not bought any as I am skint at the moment, if I had the money I would have bought all 3 for my wall!!
Everyone entitled to an opinion, just think thats a little strong, especially from a fellow artist!!
I disagree. i think the piece is only about image and...its a good image! The canvases at the cork gallery were superbly executed although the three image wood one looked much less appealing.

Also I think the Grafter quote in your signature is probably the only real one!!!!

I really like the image, maybe Grafter’s best to date…ok its not going to solve any long unanswered problems but so what, its darn pretty. My favourite is the white background/red puddle which is good because it is also the cheapest but i've properly put my foot down on my print spending habits, my savings have disappeared pretty sharpish recently!

FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, ooooooo get out of bed the wrong side today have we? Maybe Grafter should focus on second rate political stencils, no?

when the f**k did you grow the balls to sit behind your fisher price computer & judge the price of a piece of art?
Read the comments in the box below Cartrain's post, I suspect either him and Grafter are mates having a laugh, or else they have long held beef....my guess is the first option...
We can all see that this Cartrain character has nothing on Grafter, he is street art plebeian who regurgitates useless old cliches, and lives off fleeting notoriety gained from impudently spraying his bilge in close proximity to Mr B. Why not put some effort into being an artist without lashing out at those who are producing work far better than you and whose work is actually enjoyed by a healthy number of people.
Why Slinkachu asked him to cover the walls at his show is beyond me, Janet Leigh screaming, never seen that one before, why not just stick a few film posters up.
Thats rich. For a long time now ive had the dignity to keep quite whilst GRAFFTER has continully slagged my work. I saw this piece in the alleyway behind lenord street the other night where he doesent mind painting out other artists work in order to get his own seen thats lame and greedy imo the comments that grafter leaves others and the disrespect he has for their work, places him in the catogory of giving street art a bad name

The white variant is the better of the 3. Not sure about chin lips and nose part of the print they just look odd. Would have preferred it if the facial features were covered by the hair. Everything else in the work looks very nicely executed.
Regardless of who is in the right or the wrong here, the comments were unnecessary and issues would have been better sorted in private.
I find it hard to beleive Cartrain that you truely think the image is s**t, it is a lovely image and well executed. It would appear your comments are born frome spite more than a genuine dislike for the work!

I'd like to walk past this in the street, but for me i wouldn't be that keen on having on my wall - the blue and red coloured ones look like playschool cheap poster paint colours and the white one looks like shes lifting her burnt off foot out of a pool of acid....which i suppose is kinda cool looking.

Agree!
This just sounds like a falling out between two artists that probably dont actually know anything about each other and dunt do them or anyone else any good

Here's an idea of how to sort problems between artists (not just these two) - each do a piece and auction it for Charity via the forum, highest selling piece means the winner comes away with all bragging rights, Charity comes away with some cash and two forum member get a new piece....As long as both agree to stop squabbling afterwards.
Am I the only one here who found Cartrains comments very very funny...He may be winding Grafter up or not, but he has certainly kept a thread going that would have died quickly otherwise. I like his honesty and his in yourfaceness...Grafter pieces are very average and kinda dull, I would buy Cartrains post if it were a stencil for the entertainment value alone....
