Maybe JSG was chosen as they were 'up for' producing a serigraph that demanded this kind of attention? (not that I know anything about printing) given the Ron English Camo Boy?
Is this an image people can readily live with? I'm all for each to his own and that but...? I'm turning into my Dad.

this print is tight. How come people didn't buy the Superman or Spiderman DFaces from BRP??????? I thought it was just weird to see them up still.

this definitely won't be a few hundred quid more like 400-600 quid if JSG is selling these. and the size

Like the mashup image but the lettering up the top spoils it I agree - makes it look like a flyer. Agree with you there - wording absolutely spoils it and the size does not help too much either and that's b4 you even get onto JSG!

Thanks to everyone for their heartfelt concern about this print release. The community wouldn't be nearly as strong as it is without the passion of the collectors. I would like to point out that whereas we're still a relatively young company we are in a much better position operationally all around than we were when we first started. I have no problem admitting that. D-Face will be in Los Angeles working right alongside us as we fullfill all orders. Rest assured, we have proactively discussed the community's concerns and have made certain that this release will flow smoothly. Everything will be in accordance with the artist and community expectations. Thanks, and don't lose hope for a Coke Riot edition. Remember, he'll be in the studio for the next 2 weeks, and you never know what D is cooking up next. Bottom line, this is a bad-ass print that very few studio's could pull together the way that we can. 10, 20, 50, 200 years from now, I suspect people will still be talking about the print and the artist, not the printer/publisher drama. Oh, and this print will be priced very attractively. Both D-Face and I want to make the work accessible to his new American audience at a great price... Stay tuned to our site: www.(Removed) for more info. soon. Thanks everyone, the interest for this print has already been incredible.

I think it makes sense to come on here (and I applaud that) and post that JSG but part of growing up as a business is sorting out past errors, you can't just brush stuff under the carpet thinking it will go away. It won't.
Seems like there a few guys out there waiting for Camo Boy production notes, DVD and COA and JSG still has a relationship with Ron so you'd imagine that this issue was resolvable without that much effort.

Haha 200 years time what a laugh. He sounds very humble mmmmmmm I personally like the print and the size but I won't buy it as it's not in keeping if you get my poiint. Sounds like mr face may be presurred into riot coke but think another print from one show would be to much it's not a music album. Making it cheap for American market though to me sounds a bit desperate. I realise you can never keep all happy but after superman price here was so high why do USA get the cheap bits so they can either get interested in dface or sell to us. After all his biggest following is here. How are the queen bits selling any way out of interest

response from D's website :
Thanks for your mail, D is aware that JSG has a bad past record, but D has spoken in depth to them about ensuring the prints are dispatched promptly without damage and fault, in fact D is traveling over to ensure this is taken care of whilst he's there. He wont stand for any s**t if it's not, believe me. D believes in giving everyone a fair chance and in fact JSG openly admitted they had past problems and wished to do everything they can to rectify this with his release. We believe they will honor this.
I hope this is of some reassurance, the print is in fact amazing.
All the best,

My favorite image from the Levine show. Beside the multi pop tart this was the first piece sold even before the private opening. I was bummed when I saw the red dot. However, there is no way I'm supporting that ass-clown from JSG. I'd rather buy it on the secondary market. I'm completely baffled why D would choose to be associated with them in any way.

JSG seems sincere about the past. I also remember some of the ire was misplaced as one of the loudest opponents had a delivery confirmation issue and, in the end, the print made it to the proper place.
INHO, those that like the print should give it a shot. I think they will be pleased with the outcome. Mind you, I have never done business with D*Face or JSG, but I believe in small business and art. I also believe that they won't last long on D*Face's radar or yours if they don't deliver--all puns intended!

Great print and if it's priced well it'll fly i'm sure. Not sure where this would go at that size! Once it was framed it would be massive. The words ruin it for me so i'll be passing though. Good luck all who want one.

The number of people that are being put off buying because of JetSet might actually end up being a good thing in a funny way. Might mean they hang around a bit longer and don't sell out so fast, giving the true D*Face fans a better chance of getting one I always look for the positives in every situation ;D
