I guess his work can be a bit too hard core for some people as I said earlier, I think Sickboys work is similar in the way that it dunt always appeal to people with more middle of the road art tastes. I dont mean that to sound like a bad thing, its just people have come to this scene from different directions and backgrounds to me sickboy is one of the best out there. i have a a few sickboy things for sale, a canvas , a few ap's and 1/1/ painting on paper, pm me

Plenty of these new Bast prints available by the look of it. I know it's been getting some bad press on here, and I hate it, but even so - with the power of POW and the seemingly huge following Bast has, kind of suprised this is still available.

im guessing people dont have enough to spend on that print. if it was cheaper say £100 then itll be gone.

i think you may be wrong, nah. check out these recent pasters. this is the pure, uncut oldschool BAST with a little hand painted pink thrown in for good measure. in general i feel that BAST is emerging from a period of redefinition. 2008 was a year in flux stylistically for him. it was the end of the monochromatic raw BAST and the beginning of a more sophisticated, colorful, hyper sexualized art brut BAST. this year i am feeling him gel. this latest POW release excluded (which by the way i DO like) i would say that recently BAST has been killing it! the new paintings and collages offered at New Image Art are all worth a viewing. the small edition prints of Paris and Popeye Doyle were both fantastic. even POW's popeye is in my mind classic BAST. i am very excited to see what his new paintings are going to look like. BAST has not lost it.

Those paste-ups are very cool!! A print of that image would be nice indeed. I nearly love all of his stuff, also this one from 2008, very cool piece...

Bast is THE man. His influence is undeniable. His style is mad. He is the originator. Many great street artists wouldn't have existed without Bast as inspiration. He is not going through a phase. We are. IMHO, of course. Absolutely agree Gentlemental. Well said. Looking at the whole Street Art scene I can say that he is one of the few who's not a pretentious follower but always has been the leader. As I said before love or hate (even for me) however he is one of few artists who's work excites me as you never know what will he come up with next. Good point Iloveartonwalls too, regarding stronger and weaker releases from the artists. Every artist has done or (will do) some s**te at some point but that doesn't mean he/she has lost it. (I should mentioned here that most so called artists here never had it in the first place but sure it ain't Mr Bäst) YES !!!

pinched from another forum (with permission from the member) this piece alone says to me, Bast is at the top of game lovely piece BAST has been KILLING it recently. Lost it? Some of his best prints are from the last year. PARIS pink and LOTTY DOTTY perfectly capture the vacuousness and celebrity worship culture that surrounds us. We fill in the holes, change their image, and most of the time 'circle jerk'. Bast, lost it? no way.

hi old sckool BAST i love him he is the best everyone has a off moment but he does not have many his stuff is always so refreshing. bast original silkscreen bought a few years back 2006 or 07 not sure direct from the man himself. looks great as it takes the colour of the wall as a background so it changes the look of the piece depending on the colour of the wall.
