guarantee they will all sell though, especially with a potential POW release this year you are so see through, your translucent. think you mean transparent, its more see through than a translucent. and if people don't like it, then don't post. I post on here what i enjoy, thats the point of a forum

Emailed him today and am hopefully meeting him at the weekend to collect! Have been debating whether or not to get him to do me a canvas of one of these for a while, but I'll go for the print, well for now anyway...

not hyping anyone, can't i just chat about stuff without it being a plug
if you have a go at me, you need to have a go at the 80 odd pages of people hyping about nola when it came out

Piss and moan a little more already f**king 2 year olds!! Cool print but it's no Nola, the picture of the one on cardboard makes this "print" version look abit weak, but I still like it just could have been better....

By better I mean. I like all the extra stuff going on in the cardboard version, just makes it more exciting with the different paint splashes...You know what i mean..

i have wanted one of these for ages- not bothered by colour/whether it has been out before etc ect just really really like the image- but i do feel tha £100 is a bit steep - I might normally go for it but getting Bethlehem framed has skinted me out- if anyone wants to sell me one at below cost in a couple of months then pm me! :p

I take back my knee jerk reaction which was far more critical...
Personally, I've wanted this image for a while and had "Rollergirl by Hutch" as an automatic search term for a year on Ebay, but more artists need to realize that creating work that people lust after is part of the point and stop releasing pieces till the market is satiated! I was late to the party, never got this Hutch. I got other Hutch prints. What ever happen to leave em wanting more??
Plus, £100! In this market? Raiden hasn't been as active on this board, because the financial crisis has not been good to him (no need to torture myself on art I can't buy.) But that said, for Hutch to raise his price so significantly is a bad choice (though may be so that his prices are more in line with his eventual POW release)
But all that said -- I will second that Hutch is a really nice guy, very easy to work with, works hard at his art, and is deserving of having a higher profile. I'm happy to hear he's going to do a release with POW. I got more remorse when I thought back to the emails I've had with him.
Also, might I add, he seems pretty active with actual bombing still - which is more than I can say for many others out there - and something also commendable.

Its funny, we designed the following image to put up at the POW open day as a subtle nod that most art collectors who would be there are really only interested in sexy images of scantily clad ladies in baby doll pink colourways and the prospect of making money by selling them on. Sadly the idea came too late and a key part of the message was missing from the image sprayed (no strictly no flipping sign). Since then, the amount of POW prints on ebay backed up the strictly no flippping side and now, peoples reaction to roller girl seems to be backing up the people like the seaside cheeky postcard girl with her arse out at a BBQ look too!

there was 10 original sprays of each pink and blue originally. then there was a print of blue now a pink What are they like then ? i like this image seen it around in Brighton but the colour on the card one you've got looks much better, the print looks a bit washed out. If theres another run that looks different i might prefer to get one of them but i've not seen it to compare.

never trust an image, they are hardly ever colour corrected. It will probably be as vibrant as the original, although it is spray painted and very intense so it is making the print look less pink

Does anybody have any idea what one of the first run would go for now ? and does anyone have one they want to sell ?

Rich in person i agree this is a nice print - looks great and good execution. but content wise its juvenile, not meaning disrespect to anybody but a girl with her knickers down with rollerskstes on - testrostone again......
