BRP overseas lottery result, by chrisps303 on Jan 22, 2009 10:56:14 GMT 1, BRP said they had 900 entries. I find it hard to believe there are not more winners from the forum.

BRP overseas lottery result, by bonesy on Jan 22, 2009 11:01:54 GMT 1, When its just an email entry with a name there is a huge possibility for dedicated people entering many times. I think having people include unique credit card numbers and mailing address's is a good way to cut back on this.

BRP overseas lottery result, by rosstierney on Jan 22, 2009 15:48:34 GMT 1, that's right, stab brp in the back because you weren't drawn
the news of the print was reported world wide & there were 900 entries
what did you expect?

BRP overseas lottery result, by ecb on Jan 22, 2009 16:16:52 GMT 1, they should have taken a deposit for the full cost of the print for each lottery entry. isnt this how FairQ works? it would cut down on people summoning 10-20 people to put entries in for them who could give a hoot about the print.
Congrats to the winners. I'd like the proces refined, but am grateful for the opportunity. Thanks BRP.

yeah, for all i know i was excluded because is sent a second email asking to put in the lottery simply because i did not get a reply to the first. how hard is it to confirm an entry? i cant stand that. just a pet peeve of mine. nothing personal to brp.

BRP overseas lottery result, by etched on Jan 24, 2009 1:19:49 GMT 1, shameful the amount of these that have gone to auction, - I hope that in these actions it reduces demand fever so appreciators’ of 'The Empire’s State' can get one at reasonable cost. I think BRP have done their best to distribute them - even though that seems not to have worked at the moment. my advice is that if you really want something then its worth waiting for . .

BRP overseas lottery result, by bullet on Jan 24, 2009 1:25:14 GMT 1, think its stupid that someone in oz has sold one.
BRP need to sort that one out for sure, otherwise whats the point in making it 'fair'
its never going to be perfect, but thats taking the piss when several people on here went down there who actually live in London and did not get there in time, even by 12pm.
then some aussie chump is selling one 10,000 miles away.
load of chuff.

I traveled from Germany and my budget airline got me there earlier than the rest over 100. pot luck. that’s why I’m shamed as I attended that queue and saw every 100 face at some point.

BRP overseas lottery result, by dirtysanchez on Jan 24, 2009 1:53:53 GMT 1, maybe he is stating Oz to throw people off his/her scent. As for being "fair" jboy, dont bite the hand that feeds you, you got a BRP VIP ticket, so you are in no position to a: tell BRP what to do with their business and b: make out you were in it like everyone else. How many times did you enter in the lottery, using fake email accounts etc?

BRP overseas lottery result, by bullet on Jan 24, 2009 1:56:22 GMT 1, didnt enter any lottery and even if i had done, never cheat the system as the system will cheat you.
and VIP ticket was not from BRP, the private view invite was.
im not overly bothered as ive got one already, just there has been so many complaints that not many people got one that entered the lottery, maybe outing people might give someone else the opportunity to get one.

like you were a concerned citizen when you had 4 Adam Neates streetpieces you hoovered up and subsequently sold, what happened to giving someone else the opportunity to get one then?

BRP overseas lottery result, by bullet on Jan 24, 2009 2:03:15 GMT 1, thats slightly different. that was effort (sort of), not going straight into a line to wait 8 hours for a print to sell later.
theres a difference between earning and cheating the system.
