Still up CG? In the dog house too?? Well the drink turned into another one, and I'm not one to just knock them back... Stu pot should get shown the door a la Bill Hicks style quote] Mmm, know the feeling.... 3 Tigers later this thread has turned quite amusing And who would have thought Tiger beer had been around since 1932 - maybe the most interesting point on this thread to date?

This is all very bad PR for POW I do worry about that sort of thing but it appears Im more worried about it than they are so How is this bad PR for POW - there are enough people on here supporting them, putting facts out there - so it stops conjecture and all the bulls**t. What this is, is bad PR for .info, as you lose more of the knowledge base The bad PR was when ALB seemed to go after Silky for making a misinformed post (ie saying there wasn't a black list) when simply stating that there was would have been the polite way to respond. I don't know who is/was wrong/right but a certain level of decorum and decency would be nice. I thought this thread was asking if anyone else is on said black list - I wouldn't know - it has been a while since I bought anything from them - I did sell on a Nick Walker Mona though as the GF hated it - then tried again to convince her and that got sold too - meanwhile keeping the Hewletts that we both prefer. So maybe I'm on the black list - can ALB please let me know ? Thanks in advance, Andrew (that should give you enough info to let me know)

i love the "please close the thread" pleas. too funny. like moths drawn to a flame. Who do people do that? Do they really feel that they know better and should restrict what the rest of us are allowed to see?

I really don't understand why POW get such a bad time on here. They sell a lot of fantastic art at a fraction of the market value (ok, some are a bit overpriced) so that you and me might be in the lucky 1% and manage to score somethign special. I don't think there is a fair way to prevent flippers from hoovering-up all the best releases to flog for a quick profit. So the only way is to have a t**t-list. I don't think its desciminatory, the less serial flippers there are the more chance normal peops like you and me (assuming you are a normal person) the better. What's not good about it? Unless you are genuinely, wrongly on the list. If this is the case havana07 then I suggest contacting POW. In my experience - and I think most of the members on here will agree - POW have been more than fair (need I mention the now famous 'refund kerfuffle'), if you just ring them or send them a nice polite email then wait patiiently for a reply, I'm sure all will be made good.

Looks like the c**t reads this forum seeing how quickly the listing and pictures of their Nola edition 2/63 came down. By the way, did I mention it was 2/63?

I saw this on ebay last night and that's why I posted. Probably a waste of time as the person has it anyway so if they want to sell it ther is nothing POW can do about that particular print just future prints. It may have been sold in an off ebay deal or the person has been shamed into keeping it. Still doesn't help the likes of me who never got one in the first place but there you go.

Yes it definately looked like 2/63 unless one of the digits was covered which didn't appear to be the case.

i thought that, a digit could be covered, although with only 63 sold , and the seller was in southampton (i think), i'd be very suprised if a lot of prints from a run of 63 with a 2 at the beginning were sold to someone in southampton....

What annoys me more than anything was the trouble POW went to in creating a new edition, I asked if any would be left over for sale and got a no answer, only to find some swine trying to sell one for a fortune a few days later. AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!

For the (once again, stuck) record, POW actively seek to identify people selling prints on ebay, and elsewhere, before they've received them. Those people make up the T wat List. Did this apply to VLH? Loads hit the bay.
