you have to consider though and think about this.

Neate would not be bothered if these were picked up or not, sold or kept, destroyed or still out there.

The publicity alone means that if he sells one piece from it, say a piece worth £10k, he has made his money back.

Will be a damn sight more than 1 piece as well.

I think it's very sad that these prints appear on ebay, but not as sad as the speculation that they will actually go up in value, especially in todays market.

Just a shame not all have the same respect to keep the work, which as you say was generously given away.
Personally I am not bitter that I don't have one of these even though I do like the image, but I do think the buyers on ebay are making a mistake, they will be selling for £100 by Jan-feb 09 when all the dust has settled.

im not so sure this is a stamped signature you know...

besides what the bbc said in writing it that they were not touched, it would also seem a few were hand finished, who do you believe?

Great story dynamixx. Well done! Would like to hear more about peoples experiences looking for one of the prints rather than bitter and twisted negative comments. After 10 hours searching I was unsuccessful, but enjoyed the whole treasure hunt thing. The only things I loathed was not finding a piece (obviously) and driving back down the A12 back to Suffolk. Felt like a zombie for a day or two.

Well... Adam was flicking through them in a big box when I was at Elms saying "Oooh thats a good one". He hadnt even seen some of them.

I dont understand Macdeee, i thought they were all the same? ie. seen one seen em all?.

There were different colourways, some had no colour, different spray patches, some had extra paint, some had more stamps, some had bigger stickers. Adam gave the printhouse his directions and said they could differ them as they wished.
