Does anyone know what's happening with the prints that Faile are making for those of us that lost money through paypal in the last release they did. I had a couple of emails from them at the time, but not heard anything for a while now.
Anyone care to share some info?

Got the following message the 12th of oct: Hey Roger, You are on the list, we are finishing them up today, will probably package and send them out by next week Friday. All the best, Matt Faile
So hopefully the wait will soon be over.

Did you get in touch with them or did they get in touch with you Roger?

I think they've been swamped with emails lately, and mainly because of this. In the past I got emails back within a day, but the most recent response to one took over a week. Plus they have had all those prints to do along with getting ready for a possible November release on the site. I wouldn't worry if I was you.

Did you get in touch with them or did they get in touch with you Roger? I sent them a mail as I wanted a confirmation that I was due to get a free print. A friend adviced me to do so as I have a .com e-mail adress and could be taken for an american buyer who did not have that much problems with PayPal refund charges. And my name was on the list ;D Ps: It took me less than 24 hours to get a reply from Faile.

I mailed them on Saturday and have yet to get a reply however, they did say a while back I was due one. Past experience with the guys have me confident that they will sort everyone out as promised.

I agree, the guys are seriously awesome, to do something like this for us is really decent. I just hope that people don't just start flipping them, it would be really s**tty to do that.

It's inevitable I guess. It is a nice gesture though - imagine POW doing something like that.

What is this business about some kind of free print? I tried to buy some stuff at their last release, but all of my money was refunded and no response to my email... what do I have to do?

Hi James it's for those of us from Europe who got screwed by Pay Pal, basically paypal charged us to not get a print or prints, my charges were over £100, some others were higher, some only a few pounds, it depended on the day Paypal chose to refund the money they took in the first place. It wasn't Faile's fault, but by accepting multiple purchasers on things (because their shopping basket didn't have the ability to determine things that were sold out) they unwittingly allowed paypal to charge the buyers - and get a fat commission for it too. To cut a long story short, Faile, because they are clearly quite awesome have said that everyone that lost money from Paypal will receive a special print. No-one knows what the print is, though I am hoping it's Heatrbreak in Brooklyn. Really bummed out that I missed it in the release.

I hope the free print in some way include the Bunny Boy figure, then I could, in some way, display it together with my silver statue of BB

Emailed Faile this very morning and within 3 hours got the following reply: "Any one who ordered out side america will get one. should arrive in the next 2 weeks". So no need for anymore emails, everyone that paid by paypal outside of the US gets one.

Sooo excited about this - far better than Xmas - I always knew that Xmas would be an apple, orange and 10p in my sock.
Actually, if this print is of an apple, orange and 10p, i'm gonna be pretty pissed off....

A great gesture, others should take note at the level of customer care.

It is an amazing gesture considering how this scene can sometimes coperate.
They are to be highly commended as a business for such outstanding customer care, something until recently thro naivety 'failed' to appreciate, respected as people for bringing some kindness and humanity back to this fetish of ours and given max credit for the amazing quality and often breath taking beauty of their work.
IMHO (from someone who had initially over-reacted)
Looking forward to the print which will remind me of this....unless its an apple, orange, piece of coal and 10p

The prints were sent out on Thurs and Fri, plus some earlier in the week; so we should be seeing them in the UK from next week all being well. Something to look forward to amongst all the trolley angst!

they have really put thought and effort into that. cool. cant wait until the postie knocks. looks like the majoity of us refunded from outside the US must have been from the UK, no surprises there. It has a very personal feel to it. I hope Faile do manage to get there check out system sorted for the next big release, but if they are going to keep producing 'sorrys' of this class then maybe were better off with f**k ups.
